Snapshot 14w19a Ready for Testing

Are you ready for a new snapshot? Too bad, because this week, we have the newest snapshot, 14w19a! It's chock full of vitamins and minerals, and part of this complete breakfast (with milk added)!

CHANGELOG:

World border received a bunch of new options & improvements.
Spectator mode has a preliminary interface for teleporting to other players. It’s far from complete though!
Loose change.

Please report any and all bugs you find in Minecraft to bugs.mojang.com. If nobody reports a bug, they will never get fixed!

To get snapshots, open your launcher and press the “New Profile” button. Call it “snapshots” and check the box saying “Enable experimental development snapshots” and save. To switch to the normal version, you can select it in the dropdown at the bottom left corner of the launcher. Back up your world first or run the game on in a different folder (See the “new profile” dialog).

Snapshots can corrupt your world, please backup and/or run them in a different folder from your main worlds.

would like it if you could set world border to not load chunks outside of the border

I'm getting a bit tired of waiting here... I know plenty of mods/mod coders that add features waaay faster to their things, and they don't even get paid. And some of them work alone. In their spare time..

Well, now that minecraft 1.0 came out, I wouldn't complain. We all paid for that version of the game - anything else is just gravy.

If Mojang keeps pumping out updates, I'm happy, but I don't really expect them to add anything else. (Except for bug fixes - those could use a little boost!)

Hey, they have added new skin layouts for minecraft 1.8, so now is possible to have 2 layers...

But they could add 320x320 skins support! It would be AWESOME, the skins would be HD and so much possibilities!!

But yeah, 320x320 skins would be, in my opinion, one of the best things in this update!

But yeah, 320x320 skins would be, in my opinion, one of the best things in this update!

I really do not like this idea. I feel like it just goes against the style of the game. I realize there are resource packs that go against the style of the game, but at least you choose to use those. With skins, people would just be waltzing around with HD-skins breaking the asthetic of the game. Also, 320x320 would be a terrible resolution, as it is not a power of 2 and therefore would not map very well onto the model.

So far, this is a good-looking update. World generation customization, slime blocks, and skin updates are all really useful and fun. Lots of possibilities and potential in this update.

Like, watching weird unnatural landscape go by as you sit in your flying machine with asymmetrical arms.

They have a long list of changes, additions, and fixes in the upcoming update. Needless to say, they have to make sure that each change they make, doesn't break or change something unintentionally.
Personally, I'm glad they are taking their time. If they went too fast between updates, we'd all be expecting new stuff every week/month. They are pacing themselves so they don't get burned out, and pacing us so we don't get spoiled, too much at least.

I would love to know how much of the updates are planned out, and how much are just recent inspirations or suggestions.

Side note: does the grammar of this post seem weird to you? It certainly seems weird to me, but I am not sure how I should fix it.
