That's it, I'm out.
Trololololol. Wow thats sad though ;(
Aww, what. Well, that's me out. :/
Why do US Get all the fun stuff! UK Is crap :C
This is just not fair to people outside the USA / CANADA. Why have the contest at all if all your doing is tease them.
I'm so disapointed in the US Legal System !
Actually Japan gets all the cool stuff. U.S and Canada only get the competitions.
Any who Sweet! I'm entering! Thank you Canadian residency
Well, we get the fun stuff, but we also get a whole bunch of idiots, a-holes, etc. as well as a lot of hate from other countries (which I can't really blame them for).
So yeah, I think it's a fair trade.
Strange as this might seem, the US legal system has zero bearing on other countries' legal systems, which are what determine where we can run contests. If you are unhappy about it, please let your government know!
I would again like to point out that it is not US law that prevents us from running contests or giveaways in another country.
If it were up to us, we would run these things in every country in the world, because no one deserves to be excluded. However, local laws (as in, where the contest/giveaway could potentially be held) is what determines what we can and cannot do in a given area. If Country A has laws and regulations in place that make it too long, difficult, or costly to run a given thing in Country A, then we cannot do it. This is a direct result of said laws in Country A, since that is where the contest or giveaway could potentially happen.
Saying that US law is what prevents us from running these in another country is basically like saying US law governs other countries, which it definitely does not.
If you are unhappy about us not being able to run a contest in your country of origin (and you should be!), I would suggest letting your local government know, so they can take steps to make it easier for contests and giveaways to be held there.
