- Scoreboard "health" objective set to display "belowname" disconnecting player on multiplayer with end of stream

WAIT, MY TEXTURE PACKS LOOK ALL BROKEN AND WRONG AND...:
Nope, there is a new texture system now in place, in preparation for the future of the Mod API!
Quote fromWe’ve been working really hard on the new Resource Pack system, and we think it’s at the point where we can finally push it live. This is a huge step forward for the future mod API and will replace texture packs.
Unfortunately, texture packs will no longer be supported but you can use this fancy tool to automatically convert them! Please report all issues about resource packs, and the snapshot in general, to our bug tracker!
I've asked that question three times now, or rather a question about the folder tree in general. Unfortunately I have been ignored every single time. Good luck trying to figure it out on your own cause nobody here seems to be of any help. >.>
How'd you do that?
Okay you won't shut up until someone replies to you, so here goes:
WE DON'T KNOW. You said yourself they didn't tell us. How the hell would we know if you don't?
You need to ask someone involved in the game. Ask Jeb on Twitter, or Dinnerbone. Or someone who isn't just a player like yourself.
Well I figured that somebody here may have just figured it out. Because it's not like people just figured out everything else we know about modding the game or anything. You don't have to be a jerk about it. It was just a simple, legitimate question that went unanswered, and I think I'm well within my rights to request an answer at least once per page.
So basically resource packs would be named [my great texturepack] and uploaded with the new formatting to get them to work... messed around with my 1.5 pack to convert it... seems i need to piece it together so its the right format since i have extra folders and files... gonna be awkward until people put out tutorials!
The picture has nothing to do with the snapshot and(It does, but I had to use the wiki to figure that out.) part of the changelog is 'things and stuff'. Really? Things and stuff?!? We want to know what is actually added, not things and stuff. Also it should describe what these features do, not just list them.Otherwise, awesome new snapshot!
I dont see why youd need this pack in order to make a tp. Everyone else has..
1.5 forever, beaches.
Please DO NOT pirate minecraft.
I guess he was thinking that other people have looked into this and had some information. You do not have to wait till mojang puts out info. People can look into the code and find things out for them selves "Docm77" and then let others know. So you don't be flaming people for asking a legitimate question...
Not knowing all you did all i can say is
1. Make sure your using the correct world. Server default is World
2. If you are currently using the correct world and made no other changes other than the server.jar then just load up your backup copy of your world.
3. If you failed to make a back up then you have no other choice than to start over...
I'm seeing allot of this!! too many people read just the Removed texture pack support and freak out about a minor change.
Texture packs are the same thing. You just need to place them in a new folder with a few other minor changes to them. But no server will stay 1.5 to serve these cavemen that are afraid of change. So unless you run your own server that you and all the other cavemen will play on your forever stuck in SSP.
Your grammar and spelling suck; therefore, don't refer to people as cavemen. Furthermore, my not installing 1.6 has nothing to do with the minor texture pack change. Actually, it's more to do with the fact that I just don't think I like it.
And yes, I do run my own server.
I recently began using mods again, first time since the new launcher, and this update has broken the modded version.
So the details are launcher version 0.9.1 when mod was added now updated to 0.9.2, Modded 1.5.2 using Forge (minecraftforge-universal-1.5.2-7.8.0.727)
The 3rd last line of the launcher is "Can't run version, missing minecraftArguments
As to the "why have they ruined minecraft" or "why have they removed texture packs" I think people should just ignore them and stop responding - the questions have been answered enough, They don't really want an answer they just want to complain.
People need to remember a few things -
1 Minecraft is STILL in development and evolving (go buy need for speed if you want to play something that stays the same)
2 Mojang owns the game, we have only paid for the right to use it
3 Minecraft would still exist without the texture packs and the mods - but the mods and texture packs would not exist without minecraft, the modders and creators of texture packs are basically leeches, it is not a symbiotic relationship.
