Bigger worlds! More players! Blocks!
Minecraft was confirmed for the Xbox One yesterday at E3, spear-headed by 360 veterans 4J Studios. Currently, much of what MCX1 will bring to the table is being kept quiet, but behind-the-scenes discussions are, to say the very least, very promising indeed!
Minecraft began on PC, moving first to the Xbox 360, then to portable devices (iOS, Android), spanning well over 20 million players across the board. With their foray into the next-gen Xbox console, it is expected that even more players will join the best gaming community ever, and discover what the rest of us already know: that Minecraft is one of the most awesome games ever!
Details for MCX1 will be revealed in the coming days, so keep your ears to the ground as we bring you all the latest news!

More like Xbox is One big fail. HJUWHARHUHAURHR.
Had to.
Recognition?
Oh, it's recieving plenty of recognition. Reception however...
Did you just say.... that COD was better than halo 1...
Please... Leave the internet, and never come back.
Will us 360 players get new features too? Or is this stuff exclusive to the console no one wants
Because only one person will have it.....
Hmmm, never thought about MC for the WiiU, that second screen, could be used in interesting ways. On topic: I love Minecraft but not enough to put up with the crap that M$ is doing with the Xbox 1.
Killer Instinct REALLY didn't work when it was discovered that it was a lousy download only F2P title where you only get 1 character for free and you have to buy the rest!

Unless your grandma is from the future, you have the Xbox One confused with the original Xbox. The Xbox One is the new Xbox that is going to be released. I implore you to never buy one.
Hell no, I said having Halo 1 doesn't make up for not having CoD or newer Halo games, or newer games in general.
One the other hand, take a look at Apple's (not meaning to start an argument) latest masterpiece.

What apple created: Possibly the fastest personal computer ever created, with completely new and innovative technologies.
What MicroSoft created: A crappy "gaming" console that uses Modern technologies to attempt to surpass all other consoles yet miserably and utterly failing at achieving such.
Being a Mac user, I've gotten a personal head-start at the massive hate thats headed towards MicroSoft. Good day!
Wow! Now there will be tons of new people playing Minecraft! Wait, one small problem. NO ONE WILL BUY THE XBOX ONE!
the games being made on the xbox one will use the cloud to improve the way games are played, thus internet connection is required. People are just blind if they dont see how much this will improve games, allowing devs to upload and tweak games on the fly.
And why would anyone want to do business with gamestop when they try to screw you when it comes to trade ins? When you buy new, the developer gets the $$, which results in better income for the devs which leads to better content the game company can offer.
Not to mention that the price for these new, extremely detailed games is more than 5x the average of what they were 8 years ago. thats why we see so many free-to-play games popping up, the 60$ at the door business model is failing.
But I guess you cant get mad at people for being undereducated.
I agree with you
There is, however, a difference between having games on the cloud and having a required internet connection. The cloud-based system is the same for Steam, and that's what they're basing it off of. However Steam allows you to play offline, whereas the Xbox one does not; you must be connected online once every 24 hours in order to continue playing. The cloud may allow developers to tweak on the fly, but that advantage flies out the window completely if online connection is required. Had it been that the connection wasn't required to play the games, people wouldn't be complaining, but it is literally required to play the games. Not just get updates to the games, but to literally play the games.
