It's Snapshot time! Builders in particular will be happy with this Snapshot, in addition to anyone who felt that the donkeys should've been useful for hauling around loot! Check it out:

ADDED FEATURES:

Added new stained hardened clay
Enabled access to the donkey & mule inventories by sneaking and interacting
New textures for Charcoal, Coal Block, and Lapis Lazuli
Made mobs spawn as groups again

BUG-FIXES:

Minecarts with Furnace consume coal in creative mode
After the last use of a bow you get a glitch bow that when dropped and picked up again duplicates
Coal blocks do not burn away
Blurred menu background textures

Be sure to get the new Minecraft launcher (if you haven't already), by clicking here, and selecting the launcher for your OS!

It could be great if you guys add a feature that makes us craft stairs and slabs from every other block or if not you guys definietly should add stained clay block stairs.I dont think anything can be that useful for building.And adding quartz fences could be useful too.

nice more colors is always good, next add the long awaited colored glass and maybe colored wood too

Those colored clay blocks are pretty neat for building. And finally there is a better distinction between coal and charcoal.

I love it.. I said last snapshot it would be nice if Charcol had it's own texture, this snapshot we get separate charcole textures... EPIC WIN FOR ME! XD

Also, YAY colors! I can't wait to play around with the mules!

No... it's someone crouching while holding a redstone block. It's the same model, it's just his head is the "hat" area so his head looks extra big and he's hiding behind blocks that obscure his shoulder. I'm pretty sure it's just the person they keep talking about

AAAAAAAnnd I totally forgot what I came here to say... Cauldron has the wrong texture on the sides... It's pretty funny actually... cus the texture it has... Is the compass...

I think they are talking about the bonemeal nerf from 1.5 where it went from taking one meal to grow crops to 7 then down to 2-3 and went from 1 meal for a tree (so long as it was in optimal conditions) to 3 then I think it takes 3-7 now... not sure on the exact numbers for trees...

Bonemeal was nerfed a while back so trees and crops don't insta grow anymore. Horse saddles were removed because it was redundant to have a saddle just for one specific mob when the old saddle could have been used.

There are no words for the sheer stupidity I think that is. Don't get me wrong, I like it, but....really? They have the ability to make colored glass, I'd have settled if they added those in as well and made the next update a "Colorful Update."
