That 2.0 update fooled me at first... that was until I saw the exploding horses and flying sheep o.o

Horses might have free WASD movement, more health, and slightly faster average speed as a buff from pigs, though to balance them they need to be much, much more harder to tame.

Think again. Why do we have more then just one block type? Why don't we just stick with cobblestone?

After learning about the horses, the previous updates have become logical steps towards that direction. Think about it. Especially the bit where they improved the relationship between minecarts and things that ride in them.

I think his point was that the horse's purpose is already served by something more original and that the feel of the game might be compromised by the redundancy.
