It is not known at this time what, if anything, this means for Mojang. Of note, Markus "Notch" Persson has certainly voiced his opinion on the matter, stating that he "will throw piles of money at making sure they don't get a cent". Little else is known about the lawsuit at this time.
Notch has made the lawsuit PDF available for viewing, which you can see by clicking here. He has also posted a detailed write-up on his perspective on software patents - you can view it by clicking here.
Uniloc appears to be suing numerous other gaming producers allegedly violating this patent, including Square Enix, Electronic Arts and others.
Any further specifics of the case will be covered as they develop.
UPDATE: Ric Richardson has posted his views on the situation as well, which you can read by clicking here. It is important to note that Mr. Richardson has had no direct part in the lawsuit of Uniloc vs. Mojang.

1 guy w/e he is vs 35.000.000 Community!!! will squash them !!
Mindcraft...? they clearly know nothing of Mojang.
I'm guessing this was copy pasted from the pdf file.( My computer can't read it) The fact that they're suing Mojang because of not having their consent could be bad for Mojang. This could help uniloc win the case, however, the mere fact that Mojang does not own nor have they ever owned a product, game or anything called Mindcraft, the lawsuit should automatically be considered null and void.
Also, no company called Mojang owns a game called mindcraft. If there were, that should not be the problem of Mojang.
The closest thing to a relation between Mojang and something called Mindcraft would be a series of minecraft
epsidodes on Youtube called Mindcraft. A link to one of the episodes:
If they want money earn Mojang has Earned there money
Uniloc Just wants money
Sigh Another Troll
I believe he is not in Australia As a Aussie Person I say that
LMAO at the lawsuit for mentioning "Mindcraft" instead of "Minecraft." Can someone say "accurate lawsuit fail"?
i've sent my own bit of hate along the way.
everyone else, come on and join. lets see how they can put up against a fanbase of millions.
Otherwise they'd go bankrupt, I bet.
People should start giving them bad publicity, that way, they cannot sue any more companies, and get their money out of the lawsuits.
In my opinion, it's what they deserve. They should try getting their money out of something else.
