Some points of interest discovered already:
- Possible TNT traps in the world
- Ender Chest (Sort of like a chest network - place two different Ender Chests and place items in either, and they will appear in any other Ender Chests you have placed. It glows a bit.)
- Emerald and Emerald Ore (used with Villagers)
- Made Buckets stackable.
- Added Snow to Creative Inventory.
- NPC Villages change style according to their biome.
- Stars are more realistic.
- They are now slightly smaller and slightly brighter.
- Changed Gravel texture.
- Improved Options menu.
- Added Pyramids.
- Added a second Golden Apple made with Blocks of Gold. After being consumed, the player receives 30 second Regeneration IV, plus Resistance and Fire Resistance for 5 minutes.
- Dispensers will eject Water and Lava source blocks (from buckets); Will also take water and lava source blocks if there is an empty bucket inside
Of course, with any update there's always a few bugs - some of the most relevant ones are listed below (take note of "old world corruption in particular!):
- Emerald Ore has the wrong texture.
- Loading a world from a previous version corrupts it.
- Generated structures are very buggy.
- New Golden Apple does not appear in the creative mode inventory screen.
- Villager Trading for items worth more than one emerald doesn't work if you place the emeralds one by one.
- When removing the last Ender Chest, no items are ejected, and you must place a new one to retrieve the items. (may not be a bug)
- Single player still thinks it requires server/minecraft_server.jar. A blank file with the same name can be used.
- When generating a superflat world, you will get chunk errors - there will be some chunks generated in default, and the other are generated in superflat.
- Stacked buckets don't pick up fluids. Instead, the fluid just disappears.
the new dispenser texture is horrible but gravel!?
I think its really stupid
also ether implement the entire ender-chest mod or don't use the idea at all but don't just do a bad mimic please?
Thats all im asking
Some of the [good] trades I've encountered so far are:
(Me -> Villager)
11 Emeralds -> Diamond legs
14 Emeralds -> Diamond Axe
14 Emeralds -> Diamond Pick
1 Emerald -> 4 EXP potions
1 Emerald -> 3 Glowstone
1 Emerald -> 4 Red stone
1 Emerald -> 3 Bookshelves
6 Emeralds -> 1 Saddle
1 Emerald -> 10 Cookies
13 Emeralds -> Diamond Sword
I've also seen villagers wanting Ender Eyes, however none seem to want to sell them, or maybe I'm just unlucky.
Well, it will be a new feature. They're still working on it. Yeah, I'm excited too.
In 1.4.

HELP! I created a new world, and played a bit, found 19 diamonds, 6 stacks of coal,and 2 stacks of iron, started to explore... Now everytime I try to play it, the first time, no chunks load and I fall forever, then the second time a crash comes and dissappears about a split second laterand then it freezes...
Anyone else come across this problem? How do I fix it?
Nice to see someone who is actually for it
There's no need for caps.
EDIT: There seem to be other new snow biomes, just found an Ice Plains biome.
i saw 17 emeralds -> diamond chestplate
The pirate language has been around for a long time.
I've seen one for 15 emeralds, and it seems Diamond equipment goes as low as 6 emeralds (if you are lucky).
Well, anybody who's allowed to interact with chests can access the inventory, yes.
Took me around 200 villagers to get it though, so I'm guessing the odds of getting chain equipment is going to be ridiculous.
That is not new. Theyve made hills into every biome (except swamp and ocean) and they just called the tundra hills 'ice mountains'(because the hills are quite large)
And they recently changed the name from tundra to 'ice plains'. No idea why but its the same thing.
