This week's Dark Room takes a look at the Von Doom Craft texture pack, by Emperor Doom! It's a delightfully dark pack with a rich palette, surprising attention to detail and a pervasive undercurrent of "horror" - check it out!

MinecraftUniverse brings us a new Let's Play series, with a particular focus on a brutally unforgiving adventure map. It is one of the very few adventure maps I've seen that didn't come with explicit rules about block-breaking, path finding or any other major stipulations - the trade-off is how incredibly difficult it is. This map will definitely test your skills as a Minecrafter; dare you try it? Check out their play through above!

You should include a link to the survival lava islands thread, http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/622334-survadv-survival-lava-islands/ There is is for anyone interested. I wanted to download it without watching the let's play... had to jump through a few sites to find it.

That is more of a survival map, not an adventure map. adventure maps have the strict rules, survival you have no rules, goals to do whatever you can to survive,.
