Quite a grab bag of goodies, indeed! Each update brings us a little closer to the PC edition, and while the two have never been planned to be identical, Pocket Edition is definitely making welcome advances. With these new enhancements to the game, how will you change your portable world?
Textures are messed up. Running Android 4.0.4 on Verizon Xperia Play.
for those dunno's that wan't TNT don't think thats coming soon cuz if your pc lags when you explode TNT what would the lag be on a mobile phone with only 500MB of ram (minecraft just uses 100 of that 500) but anyway nice update and keep up the good work Mojang.

They only come up on new worlds, since animals only spawn when a world is created.
Also, you can currently only mine coal ores. Iron requires a furnace, and gold, lapis and diamonds require iron tools to break. Next update will include furnaces, so that means we will be very close to PC. Assuming we get chests and bigger worlds too.
1) I am trying to craft torches, but having a very hard time finding the coal ore. I found coal blocks, and mined them with a pickaxe but only got coal blocks in my inventory. Is there any way to craft torches without a smelter/furnace?
2) The leaves gathered from trees have been acting strange. Sometimes they will only go into my inventory 1 at a time instead of stacking. They also seem to have a health meter. Is this a bug or normal for leaves?
Thanks
Pocket edition seems to be mature enough to play, but I don't see myself buying it until multiplayer becomes possible.
LOL, they don't have them yet? Yes, they are absolutely essential. And here I was worrying that there is no server yet, ROFL!!!
Yes, but bricks look ugly and it's an obvious sign of incompetence if they make up the exterior of your house.
Also, the "two torches in crafting"? I'm pretty sure that one torch recipe is coal and the other is charcoal (that's why one is craftable and the other isn't).
I've been playing the game for most of the day. You have to take out the shears and hold your finger over the sheep (as in, press down instead of tap; tapping will punch the sheep). Watch it explode in to wool.
BUG: Speaking of sheep, sheep will consistently drop the natural wool colors (grey, black, white, brown) but always have white wool regardless of what they actually drop.
Edit: An example of the bug given in this scenario:
I walk outside my house. I see a white sheep. I shear it and get 3 brown wool.
I walk around and punch a tree. I come back, and the sheep has it's white wool again. I shear it and get 1 brown wool.
I walk in to my house for the night. I come back out in the day, and notice the sheep has it's white wool again. I shear it and get 3 brown wool.
That's all I have to say. :3
But that's ok. It means there is life in the old PC yet!
