MCX Gameplay Footage!
400 Achievement Points; patches will be released on an ongoing basis (not like previous xbox games), but slightly behind pc in development. No modding will be possible, except community features - for example, you can join friends' worlds, which save themselves, and you can return to them later. The tutorial demonstrates the crafting table, creating tools, preparing for mobs at night time.
Exclusive Gameplay, Part 1:
Help tips appear throughout the game, which explain new concepts as the player progresses. Multiplayer and singleplayer are the same; you can switch to multiplayer or singleplayer from the same world, without having to be in an SSP or SMP "mode".
Exclusive Gameplay, Part 2:
Footage of the crafting screen and all the different items. Leaderboards are present, although it's not yet known what they will feature. True to the XBOX, Achievements will be available - it wouldn't be the same without them!
Just Like Alpha I Can't WaitFirst!
Just Like Alpha I Can't Wait
but that is the most basic thing in minecraft. *shruggs*
community features refers to (in part) the ability to share worlds and join other peoples worlds and have those worlds exist even after you disconnect.
And they added tips. And the inability to mod, Even if I had an xbox I wouldn't buy this.
And thank god I don't have an xbox.
Wait... WHAT?!
Well, that kills the X360 version for me...
Meh... guess I'll stick to the PC version, unless they decide to allow modding later on...
Edit: And before anyone goes "mods ruin Minecraft anyway" well, ok that's your opinion, but I have my preferences...
Blame Direwolf20
So you can play with other people over xbox live? Right?
You probably could add mods, if would probably crash your xbox. But you could.
You just barely realized that :P. Many believe it is not right to play Minecraft without them. Luckily I am not one of them.
i admit i use mods, but i don't view them as right or wrong, i just have leaned on mods for so long i feel they should be there. ^^; in other words mods spoiled me, also i like have the option to use mods if i choose, and going from a highly customizable pc version to a limited console version i find hard to adjust to.
I just wish you would all realize most people who play minecraft don't even know what Mod means
More so when they get the modding api done. Eventually.
Nothing without slimes, that's for sure.
