It is not simply a 'copy and paste job', and i should know, i tried copying the redstone lamp mechanics for my mod and i got 100 errors!
Just to stop newbies from starting another wave of herobrine topics, that removed ghost entitys under the control of lord herobrine was a joke, and thats what i like about mojang too, they try to have fun. Just to clarify for all those non-techical people out there, a ghost entity is a mob that can be walked through, cannot be interacted with and does nothing.
Lovely, the people whining about cats sitting on chests who were too lazy to use a damn fish to move them, get their way. And as compensation cats are going to be less patient. That is ridiculous, just leave them as they are now.
The Mooshroom fix will be nice though.
Other than that seems like some mostly just 'chat/command' fixes. I hope they put this one off until they add more meat to it.
what does that mean
Herobrine has never been real.
Hey...
I never set fire to that forest... and theres no lava near it either...
Looks like he's real after all. XD
Oh
My
God
...
Will he come...???
Wait, ghost entities?
Notch is just trolling us
No the ghost entities are the ghost TNT
All of the class names are the same, and ModLoader seems to work just fine from 1.2.4 to 1.2.5. All of the mods I typically use seem to work just fine with this update at the moment (including the ones I wrote myself), so I don't even need to pester anybody.
For my own mods, I even took the extra step to go through the source code of 1.2.5 with a decompiler just to make sure I wasn't going to run into a conflict, and the method names and fields I use have also remained the same, so I haven't even bothered with a separate "update" just for 1.2.5 (which was my original plan). I am simply encouraging people to use the 1.2.4 versions of my mods once the big update comes out.
There has been stuff which has been fixed, but that is in classes that mods typically don't touch. The modding community got lucky this time.
