The new forum software has rolled out, and we are all very excited about the new changes! As IPB moves their support to 3.2, so too do we upgrade the forum with some of the latest features, bug-fixes and more that will make the forums even better than before. We will continue to make minor adjustments to the site in the coming days, so expect such changes to pop up from time to time.
Listed below are many of the updates included in today's upgrade - take a look!

- Watch Articles - You can now track articles and watch them for updates.
- Active Topic Block - This replaced the recent post block which gives a more accurate recent post history.

- Tons of Bug Fixes - We fixed a ton issues that many site leads and users were facing.

I've seen precisely the same negative reaction take place on deviantART, actually. Pointless features were added and a fair bit of the community reacted negatively. The admins of the site responded by saying "thanks for the feedback lol I have no idea what I'm doing" and then added more bloody useless features.
This is what we have here.
I don't really want to see animated .gifs every time I open the Survival discussion form. I don't want to see little pictures all over the blasted place (extra fun when you have ADHD). I don't want to have my avatar turned into a hideously blurred 100x100 blob that mysteriously changes sizes at random.
What I would like is a cleanly designed, functioning website. I know this sounds like more of "They changed it, now it sucks", but this has really gone off the deep end. We don't need pictures strewn all about to make posts. What we need is clarity. Pure and simple.
I miss the "people viewing this topic" thing, made me feel special when I noticed other people were reading my threads. D:
Dang, so it really is gone? I really liked that too. It also showed who was replying to a topic by putting their names in italics.
Bring that feature back!
Also, "subscribing" to a thread doesn't seem to work. I can see people are posting in the the thead but I'm not getting notifications.
Is there any settings to change how it looks, I really can't stand new things
I agree, just like Google going too far with YouTube. I hate the new forums.
at least add the "people viewing this forum" back!!!
We don't think the vast majority of changes were for the better!
Lou
1648 posts of a nice site - 4 posts trying to get the admins to realize they killed it
(20 of them are in the games section, so they don't add to the post count)
Now you ruined the MC Forums,
