Notch Working on TF2 'Demake"
When (if ever) will this game be released? According to Notch himself, "probably never". The possibility exists that he is simply working on the project to give himself inspiration for other ideas.
Modern demakes are typically whimsical in nature and often combine the gameplay of the original with nostalgic genres like platform games and beat 'em ups. Team Fortress 2 has certainly seen its share of demakes in the past - as well as other popular Valve titles, like Left 4 Dead - but it is only one in a long line of game demakes. What makes them so popular? It's hard to say; for older gamers, it may be the nostalgic sense they evoke, with their blocky sprites and chiptune background music - for younger gamers, perhaps the appeal of a simple, easy-to-approach style of gameplay.

...Soo, you're a veritable overnight millionaire and you can't aford Photoshop because...?
I believe he has said before it's personal preference.
I know. Notch isn't working on MC anymore. But he could be working on Cobalt or something like that.
I'm only going by the screenshot up there, of course.
No. Notch is the only one working on this. I'm not trying to be rude, but did you read the post properly?
This. Modders have made MC what it is, but Notch has gotten all the profits. What a shame.
At least he was wise enough to let it go...
Thank God for Jeb and Jon...
My opinion... learn to respect other people's opinion without insulting them...
Read my post again and see where I said anything about money, that he is not working and that he didn't create Minecraft.
Go away, troll...
Completely true.
What narrow-minded people don't understand is that from the very beggining, Mojang has listened to the player's feedback on these matters.
When we express our opinion about a product, things happen, there are changes to hopefully improve the product.
When Minecraft development screeched to a grinding halt, we voiced our opinion and Notch wisefully decided to pass the torch before Minecraft became stagnant.
Minecraft has taken off again with a lot of changes, improvements and many other new things thanks to the modders, the programmers and Jeb. When we spoke, they listened and the good things happening now have been the result.
Notch apparently saw that only focusing on Minecraft would hinder his programming career and intelligently passed Minecraft onto more dedicated hands. It showed that his heart was not 100% behind MC anymore, because he kept doing side projects and learning new programming languages and techniques.
This is what the blind Notch fanboys won't see...
...oh wait!
