Minecraft Poll - How Do You Play Minecraft?

Mojang is curious how you're playing Minecraft! They would like to collect data on gamemodes, time played and myriad other details (but nothing personally identifying!) about how players are using the game, and they need your help! Notch has put forth the suggestion that the game be able to collect anonymous information during gameplay, so they can get a better idea of how people play Minecraft, and adjust the game to cater better to players going forward. This feature is not currently implemented, but Mojang would like to, and are asking for your input on the matter. You can help them out by voting right here!

Welcome (Back) to the Jungle - Sneak Peek at the New Mob

Jeb released a teaser image for a new jungle mob! If you look in the image below - on the far right side of the picture - you can see the new little guy peeking out from behind some undergrowth, as a chicken stands guard. What could it be? A monkey? A lemur? A new type of creeper? We're not sure yet, but speculations run wild. What do you think it could be? Take a look at the picture below and tell us!

Though it may look like a jungle cat, it looks more like a chipmunk or maybe a new type of bird. Though a chipmunk wouldn't be necessarily fitting.
I would also like to participate in the anonymous data poll.

Wow, just what I expected of Jeb, adding features to distract users of the problems still persisting in minecraft. Yes Jeb let's put a spy into minecraft as well, without giving users the option whether or not they want to submit private data, I believe that is illegal you ditz. Glad Jeb has taken over Minecraft and turned into Jebcraft, FIX GLOWSTONE, quoting Notch "Glowstone was fixed because it is actually a stone" back from 1.6-ish. Did someone drop they're pacifier? They already said it wouldn't collect any personal data and you'd have the option of disabling it. This is a good thing. It shows that the people at Mojang care about they're customers interests. And may be looking for ways to improve the game. I do agree with part of what you said though. They should fix some of the bugs still in the game. Especially in multiplayer.

If you look at the picture closely, the green is not part of the eye like the wiki speculates, it's actually part of the grass in front of it.

If they wanted to show they care about their customers they would work on fixing bugs and add on to the abandoned features of the game. They wouldn't spy on us.

to me it looks like a orange, fat silverfish. Maybe they act like normal ones, except with jungle leaves?
