Minecraft 1.1 is Released!

Minecraft version 1.1 is now officially out! Including the updates mentioned above, 1.1 has added the following features:

Bow Enchantments
Golden Apple recipe
New language translations.
Slightly smoothed color transitions between biomes
Reduced brewing time to 20 seconds
Added spawn eggs to creative (the colors of the eggs even look like the mobs)
Added world type options (currently only super-flat and default)
Removed collision box from ladders
Sheep eat grass and regain their wool

Also included is a ton of various bugfixes and minor tweaks to the game engine, many of which were included in previous snapshot releases. To update, just run your Minecraft client normally, and you're good to go!

Dangit. That weird glitch that when you try to update, it gets stuck on "Downloading packages" However, When 1.0.0 came, it updated for me. Now, what is wrong? And yes, I have tried to force update.

I just spawned a superflat world, and found heaps of Slimes, and 2 NPC Villages! I like how Sheep regenerate their wool.
It took ages(including having to re download Miecraft) to update, but this is an awesome update!!(SLIMES!!SLIMES!!!)

(I opened my inventory ages ago, dunno why that's in the picture)

Awesome! Im gonna try out a bunch of random bow enchatnment, Fire Aspect Bow

Just wish creative mod eggs were launched like normal eggs from dispensers, thus spawning animals. That would add soo much to adventure maps

I have a beef with the world generation. Spawned a default world, then walked for awhile and found a huge hole. Turns out it was a fall down to bed rock level grass with diamonds in easy access... I made a video and I'll have it up on my Mahiraku YouTube channel soon.

Will all our mods and texture packs need to be updated?Im not updating till my "pack" that i use is all updated.. or the big ones are atleast
