You can update your game from the launcher as normal, and play it right away! Wasnt it at 1.9 something before? So why call it 1.0.0 now?

Also is there a list of whats been changed/added to it somewhere? I dont really want to update yet anyway until the mods get updated for it, but would be nice to see whats new in it.

The only thing changed in this version is the QUIT button I think, but hey... MineCraft will still be updating. Congrats Mojang and team.

well, it's nice you released the full version, but i gonna miss the beta. And, i think the game became more RPG, i miss the old minecraft. That just contained Mining and Crafting. And building, of course. After 1.8 it began, the "RPG'ing" (lol) of the game. But thank you so much for this game! Worth all my money and time i spend. I've played it since 1.2_02 beta.
Minecraft as a RPG-Game?
My answer: No.
As a mine-craft-and-build then?
Yes, i miss that. (Sniff) :,(

idiot~ minecraft will still update and more patches will be given by notch himself . . . THIS is only the start of a new minecraft journey!!!

The official release of minecraft is not equal to the end of minecraft

Because 1.9 was Minecraft BETA. 1.0.0 is just Minecraft. It's no longer in Beta.
