something i will miss is the fact of not being able to look forward to more updates.. but fav thing...... mossy stone bricks.... now all they need is a crafting recipe *opens up MCP 4.4*

This will help modders although getting their mods up to date and everything

does this mean that those with 1.9 pre 4 are safe to start a new server and it will auto update when official releases? or are there too many changes with the official release that a server admin would have to delete the server in a month and start over?

You'll get more. The code freeze is temporary, just for a month. And since the code will be un-frozen after one month, one can assume that updates will continue.

The new lighting engine, and ravines!

I'm torn between the redstone and the new lighting.

i hate how you have to pay for the new "add-ons"

my favourite: the ability to create some elements on a secondary way... like carcoal. if you have no coal take the longer secondary way.

i also like the whole farming system (specially melons).

I loved the development so much....ummm.... I think the development of snow has been my favorite part. I loved having the rare winter world, freaked out when notch broke the snow, cried in relief when not only snow came back but there was biomes so everyone got to share in the wonderful world of snow.

Oh and I really love Endermen spazzing out when you look at them :biggrin.gif:

Wow that's a tough question. I was veeery excited when sheep came out, but probably not my favourite addition!
I do hope that there will be new features later on.

My favourite is the hunger mechanism. It adds a little more adventure feel to it.
