lol, this is what i call hardcore minecrafting!

dos a manual cobblestone generator count

Just did it, lasted a about half an hour, had a spring going, cobble generator, trees, a bed, sugarcane and cacti growing, things going well, and then I died.

Uploading the videos to Youtube right now though.

To everyone who is complaining about this being newsworthy or not, you need to take a step back and relax. Its original and simple just like minecraft is. Seriously there is no point of posting that nonsense, if you don't like it don't read it, don't play it. I don't agree with everything on this site but I don't whine about it, I just choose to not play or read on further.

On topic: this looks fun and I thank you for making me aware of it.

This looks amazing. A very elegant idea for a challenge map.

I wouldn't worry about the complainers, there's lots of really young kids who also play minecraft, and I think this concept is going to be too much for many of them until they are older.

I just finished EVERYTHING in about a day (no life). I really enjoyed it and hope there's more to come. Good job and good luck! Maybe i'll upload a video of it on youtube!

How are can you make a wheet farm if there is no seeds

I don't understand the rage this is getting. Maybe because these people are just taking a glance at it and dismissing it without actually trying it. Its not easy at all. And considering that I dive into caves without torches EVER (its the only way to keep mobs constantly spawning) and consider that easy, put that into perspective.

Heck, on this map you have to race against time to get a working farm before you die of hunger. I had at least one restart just from the snowstorm that wiped out my crop. :tongue.gif:

It doesn't matter if you spend months designing the perfect map, if you've failed to understand what people want.

1. You're only here to do that.
2. You're not trying it, so you wouldn't know.
3. You actually mean it.
If you fall into the on of the first two categories... well... leave!

We took the challenge hardcore mode.

I have to say this is the first Challenge map I've ever tried, but it really changes the dynamics of the game. I'd love to try this map on Hardcore and see what happens.

If this hadn't been posted on the Minecraft Minute I wouldn't have found it. I'm definitely going to go check out some of those other challenge maps out there now.
