when i try to download it my computer said failed to load main-class manifest attribute from C:/users/(my name)/downloads/minecraft.jar can anybody help?
We're supposed to get xp for jumping, though I don't know if it will stay when Notch puts the "auto jump" back in for holding space. That was taken out on purpose but he said on Twitter he's going to add it back.
Im sorry to say but with 1.8 just being released just over a week ago we now have 1.9? Ummm this isn't adding up right things are moving a little to quick. 1.8 needs to be fixed before 1.9 is even thought of honestly. fix the lag! i never lagged in 1.7.3 but now it's all I do since the 1.8 update. I mean I love the hell out of this game but 1.9 this soon? I have my suspisions. This is for all you idiots who leaked 1.8 and kinda forced them to update with your pestering and all the impatient people who kept begging saying november was to far away. I could have waiting till November. Atleast then 1.8 would have been released in a full and functional mannor. It's obvious some of you are just the rider on the train and need to hop off and actually take a look at the work they do and let them do it in their own timely fashion!
No offense but I advise everyone to look at the entire thread before posting. Please read this link, he explains why they're releasing the updates quicker. I should point out 1.9 was half of 1.8 due to the severity of the size of content they were adding and 1.9 when it releases is a half of a half, and the rest will come in 1.10.
As far as I know, i don't believe 1.9 or 1.10 will have mod support. I keep hearing we won't get it til after full release in November or at December. May as well start learning how to use mods now guys.
So, jumping seems to be glitched/bugged, and gives u exp. I still find no use for exp, and no use for those glowy rod things. Does any1 have a list or something that lists everything & all the uses of stuff in the pre-release?
from 1.8 and up my pc gets so much cpu usage for no reason; i mean i play crysis 2, deus ex human revolution, portal 2, dead island, bfbc2, all with consistently 10%-15% less cpu usage whats wrong with minecraft ?!??!
