Ohhh, needed to play on default texture pack.

For the sake of bug reports ill report here... we were playing multiplayer and i was obsessing over the new chest... anyway i jumped and while mid air opened it and landed on it while it was open... when i left the chest the roof was clipping with the wall and it wouldn't close... nothing affecting gameplay... but ugly all the same

What do I change gamemode=0 to so that I don't have an SMP map?

Try another number maybe? like 1 or 2

You cant do it that way anymore, you have to do it through the menu

How to install (For Windows)

1. Completely backup your entire .minecraft folder. Move it to a different location. I put it in one of my Desktop folders.

2. Log into Minecraft and let it re-download the game.

3. Go to your new .minecraft folder. If you don't know how to do this, type %appdata% in your 'search for programs and files' area of your start menu (the windows icon)

4. Go to your bin folder located in you .minecraft folder. Remove the item labeled 'minecraft' or 'minecraft.jar'.

5. Put the item you downloaded here into the folder you are still in. (bin)

6. Run Minecraft, and enjoy!

(Note: You may not use ANY mods, or HD texture packs while playing 1.8. If you choose to install mods, there is a very high chance that you will get a black screen, and you will have to install it all over again.)

Endermen are not scary at all. just wear a Pumpkin on your head which is really common now

um enderman sound like zombies when you hit them
and fence gates are floating slightly ubove the block you put them on

love the new chest <3

Edit: also paintings have a lighting issue

Hm, when in creative mode and entering the Nether it automatically fills your empty slots in your hotbar. I also lagged alot, but that may have been my crappy computer

Seems Endermen burn in day. Also, hate to say it, but Blocking gives too much of an advantage. You can walk slowly, but once you get to the mob you wanna kill, just strike it quickly and it's dead. I think you shouldn't be able to move when blocking.

I think they have the zombie model and noise.
