1.8 Updates: Release Date Update

Jeb updated the "most likely" release date for 1.8 to September 12th, 2011! Bear in mind, this isn't a guaranteed release date - just the most likely one as of this writing. Keep an eye out for it!

Additionally, it has been confirmed that - at present - experience orbs will not have a practical use until 1.9. Further, while villages will be generated, they will be curiously absent of a population. How eerie! We will continue to provide information as it surfaces, including the release of 1.8! Stay tuned!

WHY!?!?!? The only reason I wanted NPC Villages was so I wouldn't be alone! When I'm alone I feel like Herobrine is stalking me, and I don't care that he's a myth, I still feel like I'm being stalked!

Ok so first the 8th, now the 12th, next will be the 20th...then they'll probly just scrap the update all together to work on Scrolls. Sad...

Seriously..
Bump the release date four days later, reveal experience is useless and NPCs won't spawn..

This sucks i wanted it to be today. Did they find a bug or something? Or are they working on the mob interaction. All i know is that 1.8 is going to be awesome.

Not one bug But more so 17 bugs in one day of testing alone and there are certainly more to come.
