A short while ago, Notch talked about some of the exciting behavioral changes in animals for 1.8 - most notably, how they will now flee when attacked, rather than stand there and stare at you. This ended up having the added effect of wolf attacks looking more "natural", in a sense, as prey would now flee its attacker, rather than look around blankly and grunt. He went on to say that - due in part to the behavioral changes, and a desire to see more dynamic mob-to-mob interactions - he is beginning a super-secret weekend project! What does it entail?
WHEN IS IT COMIN COMIN OUT
LIKE NOTCH ALREEADY SAID 1.8 ISNT FULLY COMIN OUT
I MEAN COME ON!!! WAT DO THEY STILL HAVE TO WORK ON EXCEPT BUGS I MEAN WTF!!
HURRY UP AND RELEASE THE DANG THING LOL! But for reals, great job Mojang looking forward to this update.
Just don't pull another Halloween update on us again and promise more than you can deliver.
Yay, more misinformation due to lack of reading comprehension from the Minecraft Forum news post guy. This is like the third or fourth news post that has had wrong, incorrect information in it regarding 1.8 or things related...
Notch specifically said the secret project was NOT Minecraft related. How do you misread that? o_O
More importantly, how do you not double check stuff like that when you have a massive section of the fanbase that use your information as a news source and learning about the game's developments?
