1.8 Updates: Changing the Chests
Notch posted a new screenshot of two new additions to the game! The first is quite apparent (the opened chest lid) - can you spot the second one?
Check it out!
Edit: Not long after the first picture was released, Jeb offered up the following gem - vines!
things that have been mentioned (several times) before:
-he is holding sand in his left hand
no he is not. the sand is supposed to be holding has a width of more than 16 pixels.
HUD being turned off is not anargument here since the upper or lower part of the picture have been cut out (1920x1056 instead of 1920x1080) and we*can't say if it actually is on or not.
+HUD is turned off (no cross in the middle of the screenshot
-the clouds changing colour, the lighting of the sky and so on...at has been confirmed and shown several times that the
lighting was changed and the daynight circle got smoother...so it would not be a "new" thing notch just finished up.
-four hi cacti and cacti standing next to each other
first off...none of those two are to be seen in the picture. secound, four hi cacti are most of the times bugs, which
can already happen in the current version
-chest not looking to the east...could be but i can't determin if the sun is setting or rising
-the thing behind the cacti...yep could also be but it could just be nothing, we don't know
and to all of you who try to find the secound thing in the vines screenshot. the vines screenshot was added later...AFTER he mentioned that there are two new things in the screen.
okey i know this is kind of sensless but maybe it'll help just a little
Stop writing the same things over and over again!
ah thanks havent thought of that since i always play in fullscreen mode. Since all the other screenshots where also made in fullscreenmode it didn't come to mind...will edit it
The 2th thing is-
You can change the hand witch is holding the block
Just look in the left side of the chest and you some some pixels that are bigger then normal, count them
and its 16pixel so 1 block = 1 Holding block in left hand!
