What's Going On: Lawsuits, Creeper Cars
"Scrolls" Lawsuit, Pt. 2
Notch feels he has a solution to the pending lawsuit between Mojang and Bethesda - a Quake 3 tournament! He provided the following stipulations:
"Three of our best warriors against three of your best warriors. We select one level, you select the other, we randomize the order. 20 minute matches, highest total frag count per team across both levels wins.
If we win, you drop the lawsuit.
If you win, we will change the name of Scrolls to something you’re fine with."
As of this writing, Bethesda has not responded to the challenge.
Creeper Car
Mojang employee Daniel Kaplan tweeted about a rather interesting discovery - the ability to customize a Holden Barina with a creeper-themed paint job! As of this writing, "The Creeper" holds the #1 spot for popularity in custom designs, so feel free to head over and vote it up some more!
Notch made a very immature choice.
Go team Mojang!
Go team Mojang!
1. Bethesda doesn't know how to play the game, or
2. They're doing it for the money.
But sadly, I doubt Bethesda would accept. If they're suing over one dang word, then they likely are doing it for the money. Accepting wouldn't give them any money if they win.
But also like i've said before I seriously doubt Bethesda will agree.
You've never played Quake 3, yet you're thinking you could be one of the best warriors?
Good luck with that.
You sir/madam, have created an interesting argument, If I responded to your reply stating that your "Bank Robbing Scenario" is just ridiculous, then you would most likely defend your statement by saying that by replying to your post, I have therefore proved your scenario true. Whereas if I don't reply to your message, you would probably forget about this argument & therefore lose.
Now that I got that out of the way I have one question to ask you....
What exactly am I doing then?
I'm interested in hearing your response.
