Minecon is coming up fast! It is set to be held at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas on November 18th and 19th, to celebrate the full launch of Minecraft. Registration and ticket purchase will be available next week - be sure to get yours fast when they do! Notch made it a point to emphasize that this will NOT be the end of development for the game, stating:

“We’ll just go back home and keep working on Minecraft directly after MineCon, but it does represent a huge milestone where the game finally leaves beta, something we’d never been able to do without our fans, so it feels natural to celebrate it with them.”

In addition to Mojang, a number of the staff from the forums will be in attendance as well! Will you be attending Minecon? Check out our poll!

We should organize our own minecraft block party's. Anything has to be better than A WINDOS 7 party lol.
And i mean block ( like group of houses ) and Block ( like micecraft is made of them )at the same time Lol lol

I want to go, yes. But honestly, 90$ not including travel and hotel expenses. Like thats alot of money. Maybe if he gave discounts or gaveaway a few tickets. My mom won't pay almost too much to go to a convention thats based on a game that only I play, and only I will enjoy the trip

I'd love to go. I even live in Colorado Springs, CO. Las Vegas is pretty close. Unfortunately I'm deployed and won't be there for it. This sucks.
