I vote for Enderman, because it doesn't look like what I would imagine a farlander would be.
For a farlander think Halo Flood-Like mutated humans or something-fitting with the mutated environment of the farlands. :laugh.gif:

I'll probably go with Endermen, but there should be a Farlander mob at some point.

If it is to be called Farlander, then make the experience more rare and it will be scarier. Like the ambience sound when underground, its scarier because it happenes less often. Reply your feedback and comments.

I don't think I like the pumpkin idea. To me Endermen are the top tier enemy with Creepers, and with Creepers their are no way to stop their explosion. So if you could wear a Pumpkin to stop what makes them a top tier enemy just sound stupid. Yeah the effect of a pumpkin obstructs your view, but it could be easily removed.

Agreed, I don't want a mob name that's completely copied off some myth when it doesn't even act like said myth. it just doesn't fit, a better name would be Herobrine.

I prefer "Farlander". It encompasses the adventure aspect of the update more than "Enderman".

haha, my friend's last name is farlander! (but spelled a bit different but keeping this spelling for privacy purposes)
oh, and I think endermen sounds cooler then farlanders

Endermen for four reasons.

1.Sounds more badass.
2.Sounds more creepy.
3.Rolls off the tongue easier
4.Makes more sense seeing that these guys are based off Slendermen who follows children around before kidnapping them.

Farlander. It would describe how the Farlands got like that.

A century ago..the world, was peace. A century ago, one could live amongst other races as brothers. That was a century ago. The Creepers blame us for the incident, and our own brothers and sisters have risen from the dead because of these creatures...

We all knew of the Farlands, the end of the World. It was just giant mountains that one couldn't climb. They would never end. And then..these..things came. Pure black. We couldn't fight them, they were too fast, too wise. They single-handedly tore down these mountains, revealing holes to the bottom of the Earth.

We have so forth called them Farlanders. They came from the Farlands, they inhabit the Farlands, and have not said a word of their true origins.
