1.8 Updates: New Mob...Revealed?

Notch revealed a screenshot of one of the new monsters for 1.8!

Seen here is a screenshot of a new monster in the works for 1.8. While Notch didn't specify exactly what it was, it seems fairly apparent that this new arrival in Minecraft isn't especially friendly-looking. What is it? What can it do? We will keep you updated as this information becomes available!

I think we can have legit grass blocks now.

And Notch needs to add floating islands and grappling hooks/rocket boots before adding this mob.

What's the guy in the back doing with that grass? His arms look all weird and elongated. Or tentacles, or whatever. Is he throwing it? Eating it?
I hope they can build. They look smart, and they are holding blocks.
They don't look friendly, though. And Notch called them "kind of creepy".

They change the landscape around you to confuse your sense of direction. When approached, they scream a deafening sound that sends you back to spawn.

My theory anyways.

They pick what ever they cant find and hit u the damaged depends on the item???

ANOTHER reason why i dont go outside....And no more throwing away almost broken tools O.o
