1.8 Updates: More Goodies

In a recent interview, Notch hinted at some exciting potential additions to the Adventure Update, including Melons and pumpkins which grow from a central stem to a maximum size; animal farms, the ability to help (or harm) NPC villages as desired, and the likelihood of boss monsters in the randomly generated dungeons.

I sure hope this isnt going to break older worlds. I heard that we might have to generate new ones, which would not make me a happy camper.

I didn't read anywhere in that interview that any of this was coming... In fact the only thing that I got out of that interview was that notch can't draw sheep very well.

I get more and more uncomfortable everytime I hear about 1.8 updates. I'm not sure why though.

Notch needs to consider changing the minecraft sheep to a flat 2D version of sheep that look like the one he drew in the interview. Just imagine it.
