Mojang plans to release 1.16.5 this Friday. For the time being, if you're interested in helping squash any bugs try out the release candidate that's out right now. All you need to do is open up your Minecraft Launcher and head over to the Installations tab and select "Latest snapshot (1.16.5-rc1)". Create and you're set to go! Do be careful loading up snapshots on your current worlds. Create a copy of your world just in case your world becomes corrupted.
Snapshots for the Caves and Cliffs updates are hoping to return next week. Until then, let's up for 1.16.5 on Friday.
Update: 1.16.5 has been released. Two critical stability issues. You're not pressured to update right away but it's highly recommended to. Those on 1.16.4 can play with those on 1.16.5, but you may find it better to update sooner rather than later.
