There has been a lot of crazy news lately, so we are going to take a day to focus on some nice, chill community projects! Today's spotlight goes back to basics with Keralis, who walks us through a number of houses built in modern styles. While a fairly nice resource pack and shader system are used, the blocks appear to be 100% vanilla, and used in some pretty creative ways! Maybe this will give you some ideas for your own houses. I love how he used quartz stairs in one wall design. Looked amazing.

Gotta be honest, it's nowhere near a nice-looking house, at the very least on the outside.

The boat house was just silly, though.

Damn, I wish I could get shaders like that. My computer would probably explode like Chernobyl if I even tried! As for the houses... meh. I don't care for modern architecture.

This really isn't a very good build compared to others, you see better stuff on minigame servers and infinitely better in broville.

Anytime the roof and walls are the same the house will always look like trash on the outside. This only has a video because of the shaders.
