I have recently built a new computer and started a new vanilla survival world. I built a starter base AKA a fancy hole in the ground. I went caving, found just about every mineral, except for emerald, because I wasn't in an Extreme Hills biome. I actually got 13 diamonds! That was really cool. Anyways, I built a house/building and I want some feedback on it. I don't think it is going to be my home, but I think it will be A home in the city that I plan on building around it. It's completely empty right now. So, tell me what you think of it and what I should put in and/or around it. Also, some suggestions for other things to build in my new world would be pretty nice. Thanks!

Let me see... If your graphic card is overheating, no it wont, you will still need to clean dust, and/or un-block jammed fan from it ...

If yuu have broken capacitors on your graphic card ... no it wont

If you have unstable PSU ... no it wont

if you have poured coca-cola over your computer no it wont ...

If your Windows is messed up ... yes it will.

Now you tell me which one of the offered options is happening to your computer?

I'm guessing my Windows is messed up then, because all of my parts are brand new and have no dust them and are in perfect condition.

Open Graphics Library, collection of functions and standards to work with graphic rendering. If driver does not provide OpenGL functionality, game will not be able to start, and will report error like you have expirienced.

    EDIT:

You did mentioned that you get a msg after crash that driver has stoped responding and has recovered. many many reasons for it, software related and hardware related, cant point to specific one, you can eliminate them one by one, starting from dust and fan on your Graphic card, then PSU (Power supply unit) with broken capacitors inside, or old enough to start working badly, or not powerfull enough to supply enough power that it is required, then broken capacitors on motherboard. With Windows ... i can only sudgest , clean install takes about hour or 1 and 1/2 hours to install it, rather than spending days, weeks etc. figuring out what could have possibly gone wrong.

What do you mean by a clean install? A clean install of Windows?

During time, instaling software, removing software, updating, viruses, malware ... Its Windows OS, after some time it may, but not always the case, become ... disturbed ... at best, and some features of operating system may become buggy ... not always the case, but usually. In some cases core of operating system, also called Kernel becomes too stressed to function with desired degree of stability, causing drivers to crash, or software to be buggy. Sometimes it may recover itself from crash, sometimes not dependable on how software is being written. Hardware issues, overheating, or dying components may add to general instability, or should i describe it as : "I am dying, but still alive".

Try installing driver from this source:

    https://www.asus.com/Graphics-Cards/R7260XOC2GD5/HelpDesk_Download/

I already did this, but thanks for the help! I uninstalled and reinstalled the driver that came with my GPU and done the same with drivers from the internet but nothing seems to help. What is Open GL, exactly?

if you post your DxDiag summary, or identify your graphic card, someone may find a stable driver for you that you can install, maybe someone already has a link that you can use, but its not going to happen' if you cant tell what graphic card you have.

    EDIT:

Asides of problem with driver, you could also evaluate how stable your operating system is, and/or if it contributes to the problem, aswell as physical problems with graphic card like overheating, too much dust on cooler, or fan on graphic card jammed ...

My graphics card is an ASUS Radeon R7 260x. And what do you mean when you say how stable my OS is?

After it crashes, it says in the bottom right corner, "AMD Display Driver has stopped responding and has recovered sucessfully."

I just recently built my own computer and I have installed the driver that I got with my GPU and I tried to go online and download drivers from AMD, but it said that there were no drivers that needed to downloaded. So I figured that I was all set to play some Minecraft. So, I got on minecraft.net, downloaded the installer, installed Minecraft, and I was ready to download and play Minecraft 1.8.7. When it finished downloading, it closed out of the launcher, did nothing for a second, and the the launcher came back with a crash report. I hope someone can help me. Here's the crash report:

I've been working on deforresting a jungle biome in preparation for building a city that I want to surround with a custom forrest. I've been clearing everything in an 8 chunk radius from a central location. I think I'm 75%-80% of the way there. At one point I tried just burning it, but it leaves so many floating blocks that you have to pillar up to anyway. So it's actually faster to just do it by hand.

Yeah, once, my friend and I tried burning down a jungle...wayyy much more work than just chopping it down by hand.

I haven't posted in a while, so let's see if I still have it!

I recently started work on a 16x16 block quarry down to besdrock using only iron picks. This is on a vanilla server that I normally play on.

Accidentally ran into some caves and the wiring for my automatic wheat farm, whoops!

It appears that the best iron farm may now be the iron titan (2600 per hour), a new design by Tango Tek which will work in 1.8. And can be stacked to some degree.

I never did the math for ALL of the other iron cells but, I'm pretty sure the Titan (or 2-5 of them) would be more productive and far less time consuming. This would also make room for another project I would like to start in the spawn chunks...

Passive mob spawning - something which despite popular opinion, still exists and can yield quite high results. I have been playing a little bit with this in the snapshots on this little island (I'm getting around to toying with the guardians too, which is why I started, but having unlimited meat is a lot of fun to toy with). It will obviously be much, much harder in a huge mountain/plain but I think passive mob farming is definitely in my idea of a Perfect World (or it is now).

Thoughts on this? Or ways to make passive mob farming easier, so I won't have to remove billions of grass blocks for hundreds of chunks?

I would definitely go with the Iron Titan. You'll have more iron than you'll ever need in about a day! Don't really know much about passive mob spawning, but it seems like a cool thing to look into!
