I was on my server one day and I saw some people near spawn. Then I saw Notch. I flipped out. I was ready to record Notch on my server...but it turned out we were testing NPCs and Notch was added as a test subject...It wasn't really him.
step 1)find lava
step 2)fill bucket with lava
step 3)stand on pillar near chest full of dirt
step 4)empty lava near the chest
step 5)break chest full of dirt
) no.
2) Minecraft has no story, I don't want anyone imposing their idea of the game on me and ruining my concept of the game. Even if I didn't read it, others would, and would consider it cannon, and there would be nothing I could do about it.
Well if you aren't warned, then its a **** move. But if you are warned of the ads, then you can make an informed choice. I honestly don't care about ads, so long as the product/service is good. But if its some noob money mooching, then I honestly think those people should be banned for trying to get easy money from us.
Don't bother. I tried it and the 3d analyph isn't even correctly calibrated to the correct color. My glasses make my eyes hurt because the red side is the wrong color.
I ahve also concluded that laptops should be for nothing more than on the go Email, note taking or research online. Games are not for laptops by any means unless you spend like $5000 on a custom laptop.
Anyhow, there is nothing more you can do. The laptop gets hot, and you have to cool it down. I got one of the heat sink pads as well. I sometimes put it in the freezer to get it cold. I would also only play when it was cold, which is pretty much mornings or nights. You can't do anything else.
Here are some things you might not believe though:
1.I find that turning off limit framerate puts less stress on my processor.
2.Having render distance on normal does better than tiny or short unless you are doing tons of exploring. This is because the game loads in 16x128x16 chunks of blocks. On tiny and small, if you move a little, it unloads then loads more chunks because it is such a small area. If you use normal, you will load a decent number of chunks, and if you don't wander too far,(building or digging for a building) you will not unload/reload so many chunks all the time, and it rests the computer.
really? I find them annoying as hell. When I am mining glowstone they blow it all up and I get nothing, then I fall 20 blocks and die. They can spawn anywhere in the 3d area of the nether. They notice you from large distances away, and fire from far away. They also run away from you if you get close making retaliation difficult.
