posted a message on What can Mojang do to make you all happy with this game?
isn't modding API and mod support the same thing?

    Anyhow, I want:
-actual bug fixes(the purpose of beta)
-less new blocks(because its a beta not an alpha anymore)
-better uses/more uses for existing items(make slime have a purpose beside fapping me to death)
    -integrated HD texture pack support
    -adventure mode
-authenticate better/get a better handle on the cloud server
-stop being away from the office to accept awards for a game that isn't even released yet, and get it ready for a ZBR
-make redstone/music blocks etc not lag on servers somehow
-stop adding stupid stuff like cookies that we can't even make and heal 1/2 a heart or whatever it does.
    -stained glass
-make the new half blocks not act funny and stack on each other properly as well as adding more half block/stairs types
-equipment that does more than just give you armor(like running boots and the mining helmet that increases light perception for a player in dark caves.) etc.
-make glowstone dust make a new lightsource block so that when I break it, I don't get 1/9th of it back like I do when i place glowstone.
    -better oceans
    -better nether
-make light source underwater penetrate deeper(...yes that is what she said. >.>)
-no more black screen while in a server. that gets old fast.

posted a message on where can I re-download beta 1.4?
Hey guys, I hate Notch's inability to think, so I wanted to know where to get 1.4 because when I try to run 1.4.1 in both client and browser, I get the game crashed or white screen. I am glad valve got nasty now...

posted a message on Redwood and birch trees need to be creatable
We all know it is true, but maybe we have just become complacent. How on earth, does a redwood or birch tree give you the sapling for a boring normal tree? That is the most bogus thing ever(not really).

So I made some quick mock ups.

The birch one is okay, but the pine is ugly, I suck at pixel art...If there are any other tree related things, go ahead and post them and I will update the OP.

Its a really foolish concept that trees are a limited resource.

posted a message on Spider Jockey is more common than Wolves
Wolves are in the tertiary trophic level at least on the food chain. This means there are exponentially less wolves, looks like Notch when for realism for once...*troll face*

the people of the forums haven spoken, it seems that where wolves live in real life, is where they live in minecraft.

posted a message on I am not able to start up minecraft anymore :(
Since the 1.4 update, I can't play minecraft. I haven't wanted to update yet since my server is still on 1.3_01 or whatever it was. But When I tell it I don't want the update, it goes black screen. this happens in both client and in the browser. Really strange because it worked this morning. I am confused.

Why must these conversations turn horribly malicious?

What I meant by get friendly with the community is, they are the ones who buy the game, not a random rich guy who pops into your life for one night. I honestly think that this next patch will have some awesome bug fixes now, because there haven't been too many really good bug squishings in a long time.

All right, hand uo everybody who would actually have stayed home and tried to fix bugs on that offer....

    a) it's fun
    :cool.gif: it's possibly a once-in-a-livetime-opportunity,
and for all those who keep complainign about how Notch runs his business:
    c) If you have a little Company like Mojang... you DEFINITELY want to get on friendly terms with people who have a private Jet and use it to get you to London and back.

Layna, who would have gone too, especially if tehcnically, bugs can wait till tomorrow.

Your butchering of grammar makes me a bit sad. But I will be nice. Something about people staying to fix bugs...I didn't understand what you meant, but if you take a break its fine, but since mojang is so small, it really impacts how fast things get done when no one is still there working.

Yes it is fun, that is why they accepted, I would have been like F you rich guy, go start a charity or college grant fund with the money instead for me. But that is just me.

Seeing where notch is going, I am almost certain this is not a once in a life time opportunity.

And I say you are wrong. Its definately better to get friendly with video game consumers who buy this game than a random rich guy...because minecraft's reputation AND advertising is %100 community enthusiasm, which has been wanning because of stuff like this.

The real point is, good for notch for having fun, but less play more coding and it will keep me happy. There are still some very grievous glitches that have been ignored for a while now.

EDIT: we shall see if the next update has bug fixes, I hope so that would make me :smile.gif:)))))))

I am pretty sure he didn't say he spent his own money on it...But whatever. What I mean to say is I haven't seen a real good bug fix patch for a while it seems. It seems that the most bug fixes came at around beta 1.1_xxxx the last time large numbers of fixes were made. Plus there is a lot of junk that is still bugtacular in SMP.

Why would he stop production of minecraft at all? How is that a threat? Its not even released yet and its super popular. If he was insane he would stop. I don't see that. You are a bit insane for thinking we are lucky he is still working on it...or something. You confuse me.

Isn't it fun to see blog posts of Notch and EVERYONE in his entire squad of employees leaving to go to some party? Kind of crazy. The lack of detail on mr.rich guy makes me wonder if he existed or not. Anyway, its cool that Notch got to do that. But I know I wouldn't have. That was like the adualt equivilent of a pedo-bear rolling up to a kid in his white van asking "I lost my puppy, have you seen it? want to get in and help me find him?" I laughed because I wanted the next line to start "After we got off the jet we were knocked out and woke up in a bedroom..." It would have made a more interesting story, but either way I enjoyed that blog post. I just really feel like we are getting cheated these days. I can't help it, there are so many bugs in this game, and so much optimizing that could be done, but not much has been fixed recently. However neat this ,may have been, it gets to feeling a bit tiresome to see Notch say hey we have a minor addition to the game coming in 2-3 weeks. I am excited about the wolves, but I am more excited for adventure mode, optimized files, uses for slime, and zero-bug multiplayer.

posted a message on Less annoying glowstone
Hello there friends of the forums! I am annoyed! Glowstone makes me want to punch a sheep to death. The reason is because, once I place a glowstone block, that is it. There is no going back. If I decide I want to move it, I could break it, but then I would end up with 1/9th of it back. That makes no sense. No other item is as flawed as glowstone in this manner. How many other blocks beside glowstone, don't give you back their functionality when you break them? None, the only things that are different are coal, redstone ore, and diamond ore, but I don't know many people who would want to decorate with them or anything.

So I propose that when a player places a glowstone, it breaks back into the full glowstone again. Its fine that it takes 9 glowstone dusts to reconstruct it, but when I don't get my glowy block of happiness back, I get angry because it shouldn't be that way. Another thing is that constructing 9 dusts makes a new type of block that breaks back into itself(and maybe even so that it doesn't look like jaundice and chicken pox).

That is a very strange hypothetical situation. But you didn't provide enough relevant detail to let me decide whether the ban could have been fair or not. Either way, I would probably just find a server that is pay to play, since they tend to have more people, and less corruption.
