    So i'm making an RPG adventure-map with classes. I'm trying to make it so that when you respawn you are given the health boost buff to set your health depending on what class you play as. This is simple enough (teleport them into a room give them the buff and teleport them back) except I also want people to be able to have multiple spawn points.

    Anyway, I was thinking what if they get an item when they choose their class and a command block would track this and give them the desired effect. Is this possible? Could my goal be achieved some other way? Help would be much appreciated!

    Okay so a lot of people are saying the baby cactus should be called something else, baby cactus was just an arbitrary name I thought up. As for the flower idea its not bad, the only problem is that because of how cacti's (is that the correct word?) model work, blocks don't actually appear to touch the cactus. To remedy this I was thinking there could be a new texture for the top of these cacti which would have a flower on them, that way it would look like this


    Or maybe (and this might be a little weird) it could have a fifty fifty chance of using the flower or the normal texture.

    This is a pretty simple suggestion. What if we had another type of cactus which would spawn in the desert and looked like the cacti which are placed in a clay pot; This would be a simple thing to add, and I feel it would fit with all of the other new flowers they're adding to the game currently. The baby cactus planted in pots would now use this block's data and normal cactus would not be able to be placed in pots, this would also allow texture makers to potentially make a separate texture.

    This next part was an idea I had as I was writing this: So cacti can currently not be placed next to any other block? Well these small cacti could and they would be able to be placed next to (and connecting at any point to) the large cactus which would cause them to attach similar to fences. It would look sort of like this:

    Ah, thanks anyway. I think i've kindof figured out the sound by looking at some other packs so I'll see if I can figure out the language files. :D

    New update! basically everything was updated or tweaked a bit, download link is updated so please have a look and give feedback.
    Also in the future I plan to be much more active so I won't be disappearing like before... hopefully for a while.

    also, is it possible for a mod too move this to the texture packs section?

    The villager sounds are really funny and give them a lot of personality, but I think some more sounds would be better than just randomly using the same three. For example when hurt they should make an arg! noise and when they trade maybe something happy, they could also have sounds of awe when looking at iron golems, also when running from zombies a scared cry for help.
