posted a message on Sign The Petition: Stop The Minecraft Bullying
I think you're overestimating the power of a petition. It can't stop an abstract concept like bullying and it certainly won't "get the word out" about how some random Minecraft Player was, shockingly, told his content wasn't very good or was, even more shockingly, ignored entirely.

I know I can still enchant my weapons normaly. But if I'm on a Server - other players will probarly have better equipment than me. And in general I don't understand why Mojang changed the way enchantment works.

They didn't change how enchanting works. Enchantments are still random, even on books. They still have to get the same amount of experience as any other enchantment, but now they don't have to waste three diamond swords on Bane of Arthropods and Knockback II.

You are criticizing my opinion? Everyone have an opinion. You can't really criticize other peoples opinion.

Yes, you can. Your opinions are unfounded and unreasonable.

    Quote from 99soren
I've just shared my opinion, and asked for yours. Why don't you just give me your opinion on the new Update?

I like it. It doesn't matter if I like it, though, you opened up debate when you criticized enchanting.

Actually - I know how enchanted books works. But I really liked the way enchanting worked before. Again - it's my opininon.

What are you going on about? You can still enchant your weapons directly. Nothing has fundamentally changed about it. You can just put an enchantment on a book now.

I understand people post it. But if you look at this topic - this have been posted lots of times. And I have answered it too. I gave you my opinion on fireworks and enchanted books. It may not be the same as yours - but then write what you think about it, and not, post hate on my comment. Some Players have responsed good stuff to me, and I appreciate that.

It's not posting hate on your comment. We're criticizing you and your opinion; stop complaining about it.

I seriously love how people can believe that this advanced AI is in the game dating back to a time when Notch couldn't even program wolves to distinguish water and lava.

posted a message on The Wither, what is the reward?
Actually for the biggest size pyramid it's only 164 blocks of whatever material which in all actuality isn't that hard.

The problem isn't difficulty, the problem is that the beacon requires so much time to be put into it for a reward that just isn't worth it.

I currently have around 500 blocks of iron in my singleplayer world that I don't know what to do with.

And what about people who don't have millions of iron bars to waste on a useless thing like the beacon?

Also, the star being used for amazing tools armor or weapons seems a bit silly due to the fact that with high enchants you can almost break any block at creative mode speed, one shot mobs or not take any damage until your armor breaks.

You would have to beat an extremely difficult boss to get it. Beating it should give you an actual upgrade, not this impractical beacon.

    Quote from Puggy088
The fact that all there adding is a few more things to the survival aspect instead of the game as a whole. I would much rather have two or three new blocks than more useless mobs that don't really add anything to the survival aspect other than being a distraction when your bored.

Change log. Read the change log. The witch, the bat, and the Wither aren't the only things being added.

    Quote from Puggy088
If there going to add more mobs they need to do it parallel with new blocks, otherwise this game just gets really one sided and boring.

Beacon, Flower pots, item frames. Three new mobs, three new blocks.

    Quote from Puggy088
Also being a **** about your opinion doesn't make you any more right than anyone else. Your posts make you look like a butt hurt 14 year old.

You're right, being a **** doesn't make my posts any more right. Logic and reason, however, does.

Not because of any silly religious reasons but because that's not what MC has ever been about.

Really, now? Let's see what your personal interpretation of what Minecraft is about, then, although I imagine that it comes from a difference of taste rather than anything really game changing.

    Quote from daniloelnino
If I wanted to play an adventure game, there are hundreds of more comprehensive games of this nature and style. MC has always been about digging, building, mining, etc. Not witches, not strongholds and dragons and all that.

Funny, you'd think that you wouldn't be able to do any digging, building, or mining if that's the shift in focus.

    Quote from daniloelnino
    I don't want a fairy-tale, I want a sandbox building game.

I'm not even going to state my response to why exactly this is wrong. Everyone on this forum will have seen the reasoning behind why this one argument works that it's inexcusable that no one ever considers that reasoning in their arguments.

    Quote from daniloelnino
I miss the days when updates weren't about enchantments, buffs or trading. I prefer new blocks, new physics, new ways to make impressive structures. But hey, that's what people want and that's what they're getting.

I can agree with having new ways to make impressive structures, but are new physics really necessary? Are new blocks really necessary? I can see some blocks for underwater, but that's really it. New blocks just for the sake of being new blocks is just as much fluff as the beacon block. Well, maybe not as much fluff as the beacon block, but still.

Also, enchantments and trading haven't really been the focus of these last few snapshots. In fact, this entire snapshot has consisted mostly of more sandbox features and ways to decorate and play. Seriously, check the version history. There are plenty of new things. For example, the item frame, corner stairs, (mossy)cobblestone walls, making trapdoors able to be flush with the floor, flower pots, dye-able leather armor, cloning maps, the list goes on and on.

To be honest, I think the snapshot system really undermines the scope of the things we get in an update and makes whiners think that the Mojang is completely shifting direction when it really isn't.
