Set the weights on all of the less rare mobs to a really high number and set the weight on the rarest one(s) to a very low number.
The chance of a particular variant showing up is basically (Weight / Total Weights) so it's pretty easy to figure out about how high you want to set the common variants.

i decided i need a lot of time to get sounds right so for now here is updated to rc4 new textures:
zombie horse
skeleton horse
iron and diamond horse armour
new lead knot
new sun
next objective: ENDERDRAGON
skeletal first then cover with scales then rip flesh off in places so basically it will be either skeleton dragon, zombie dragon, or something in between.
ok i've make some refinements to zombie and skele horse, i have removed all the sounds i dont like (left some as placeholders) made new sun with animation but it doesn't seem to work with mcpatcher, still looks awesome though. i will release new horse and horse armours along with sun and modified soundpack. just so you guys arent waiting too long. the soundpack is very much beta and its taking me some time learning this program i'm using. so expect update when i get home. i will also give instruction on how to obtain zomb or skele horse.
been working on compiling an archive of sounds to use. i just got a sweet audio program the other day. (avs) gonna go thru it make sound pack way way better, i have some sweet sounds already but with audio effect software i should really be able to make it great.
next update will be once i have a soundpack release. unless you guys really really want zombie/skeleton horse and diamond/iron horse armour.. you have to twist mt arm cause i'd rather wait a few days get both out at once.
thanks just gotta fix its back and maybe make a fire tail/mane. been working on sounds today also, i must say i enjoy texturing more than audio editing.
