Hey, this is a message to all mods, admins, and any player wanting to read this really. A few things Ive noticed lately on the server that I really think coincide with each other : 1, players are definitely getting into some major scuffs over some glitching and hacking possiblities and no real solution has come about, which is my second point being 2, mods/admins are never on. With all due respect to the current mods and admins of the server, im sure you all are doing what you have to do in terms of your own real lives, however the only person of authority that Ive seen online recently and somewhat constantly is spellsword and I see him maybe 2-3 times a day.
Easy solution to this and I would love for you all to take it into consideration, if the players,admins, and mods would have it I would like to mod for this server as i once did on Darkwood. I play constantly and will usually partake in any scuff that happens on the server as much as I can and if you ask around Ive never taken any stance that hasnt been a neutral case in which i favor noone. I dont think that im the best of mods due to my lavish speaking, ie i may swear alot at times and take a perverted joke too far, however I think the amount of harassment on this server is out of hand and Im fullwell able to handle that. Think about it, and message me on game perferably but if not ill be checking this website regularly from here on out. Thank you,

Hear me out. The staff here are awesome and the regulars that still come on are a great mix of tribes with lots of drama (the entertaining kind). The server has a solid list of mods that enhance the games feel without breaking the simple beauty of vanilla Minecraft. This should be, and once was, an immensely popular server. But yet, there is a marked decrease in new players almost to the point non-existence.

How did this happen? I frequently hear two things said by the newbies who have joined lately: "Where is are you guys?" and "I can't find any trees..." While these quotes may not seem like that big of a deal, I think they are big indicators that there has just been too much expansion outside of spawn. Too many buildings sit empty and ownerless, and a new player must travel quite far to find even a single tree that isn't in a protection field. DWA's recent relocation to the border-lands is another indicator that even our most loyal members are starting to tire of the familiar landscape and silent villages.

I submit to everyone that a map reset may be in the best interest of the server, especially now that it has regained its former stability. Despite how painful it would be for those who have spent considerable amounts of time here, I fully believe that a map reset would bring back the interest and player count we once held.

I'd love to hear everyone's opinions on this matter.

Also upon my travels i find that a lot of the area around spawn is not were trees grow, spawn is in a forest its self but the area surrounding it is ocean and mountains, and not many mountains spawn with trees. so we just need to plant trees and clean up old houses is my solution, no need for something so drastic as total map reset, what do you guys think?

I agree with you set (especially the first paragraph) But we can come to a compromise. I know people don't want to lose their precious stuff (myself included) But I think maybe a slight change may be better than a drastic one. Maybe us as a server community can put our differences aside and bring back the nature in areas near spawn. Set we have alot of inactive users most of MLC, Copperfront, Its_Justin and probably many mores o we could de-activate their Gold blocks and use the land they once stood on to plant trees. I like the fact of a spawn town it makes the map feel "alive" and populated. We could alternatively keep the buildings and move spawn (I'm not a big fan of this idea).


I think part of the reason we don't get new players to stick around is because (admit it) We're all ass holes (I know I am)and I think I'll put effort into changing that and you guys should too. even just little things like not killing new-players or trying not to greif a newbies first base or if your feeling gutzy go out their and give away GBs to the new (I've done that and I've seen others too). Keep in mind that even the smallest change can benefit in the long run. So people, I won't go on a rant about this servers players and how must of us are COMPLETE ass holes because I think we all know that and we sould get out of the cave that is the past and explore a new pasture that is the future.
