Another announcement. I am setting up a forum for all members to post and chat in. It will help centralize these things. Also if a member wants to help out with server hosting I would be much obliged. Such a member would have to be able to host the server 24/7 on a relatively good computer.
Hey there i post this in the hopes of someone who knows enough about permissions ex to help me.
I have a problem were i cant get permissions ex to allow my mods to use creative mode without them being opped. I would very much like that to change since i dont feel confortable opping all my moderators.
Also i have move craft for my server and have not found a single way to give those permissions to users. Its a big deal for me since non mods will be allowed to use this plugin. Please post me the permissions I need =(
I have noticed a fair amount of inactivity from everyone who signed up. If you are having trouble getting into the server let me know the date/time of the problem and what occured and I will try to get you in.
If you are just not trying to be active you will be removed the server list. I will update that list in two days. Please sign into the server when it is active and tell me your forum name, i will keep you on the list. Feel free to ask me if it is active in hamachi.
@Dead Pixel Welcome aboard matey. Please be sure to read the large list of important stuff as I did make some changes to the airships section.
@All I am pursuing the usage of smaller sized airships capable of crewing roughly 4 to 5 people including he captain and first mate, and seeing if that is also to laggy. This project will take place in the ship yards and will be underway until further notice from myself, or dragoneye181.
It would also be nice if someone experienced with making good skins could come up with something more airshippy such as,
Goggles
Leather clothing
Boots (Brown to black)
Keeping the face portion open so people can add their faces into the skin. Anyone who does a good job with this will recieve 700$ in game money towards whatever they want. I'll post the two best and we can vote on them so no one can say i'm playing favorites.
I suppose we may have to do something like that until zeppelins works. Good idea I'll make it happen.
Edit: I have recieved a report that a strange griefer has been running around our server. I honestly have no idea about this but I'm told some strange things have been appearing. I recommend using lockette until the griefer has been caught and banned.

If we do a vip server I have decided VIPS would get the following,
Rights to build a small 500 block ship to zoom around in (can not be attacked)
Access to the tp command (for themselves only)
Able to make a 5 item shop.
I have a member in my clan who feels he might be able to make the mod SMP compatible (he knows some java). If its ok with you could you release the code to him so he can start? He is As334.

Dass i know that and that is why i am not going to be setting up premium for a few months at least. Until then though we will have to live with a very laggy server unless I can convince someone with a much better computer to host it for me. Maybe my gfs brother =P. He'll want moderator powers tho.
As work continues apace I have gotten to thinking that this server could definitely soar to new heights above my junky laptop. After some thought I have decided it may be in the clans best interests to run this server on a hosting site. This would allow some of the following,
24/7 dedicated air time.
Less lag in the server.
Higher running speed and plugin support.
Such a wonderful paradise, alas, comes with a price.
To run this server for 30 people max I would need roughly 45 bucks a month. Not an easy number for me to leap over at my wallets current level. This is were the members come in.
I would like any members that joined the clan to post whether or not they like this idea of making our server bigger and brighter. We grew up really fast and I am seeing a long future for the sky pirates (if we can ever get the stinking ships to fly), and I hope to see things do nothing but get better. I would set up the server once we have 90 dollars in pledges for two months worth of air time to see if its all worth it. Donators will receive in server benefits though at the moment I haven't come up with any (It is 11 pm after all).
Its decision time. I need at least 9 players to vote yay. So post away and please do add ideas for premium users. Also pledges for monetary support would be appreciated.
Sure thing I'll send you the server stuff and get you started. I've made some updates and changes to our planning log so be sure to re read some of the things above.
Do you attack everyone who starts a clan? As of right now we're still building up our clan things. I would rather not have you guys as an enemy, you haven't done anything to us.

I have noticed that zeppelins isn't smp so I will try to find something similar that is. Otherwise we can do other things.
