I reinstalled the new launcher (again) and migrated my Mojang account to a Microsoft account. Still the same thing. If this helps anyone with an explanation, after I exit out of the Java error message, the Minecraft launcher gives me this error message:
Error
Game Crashed
An unexpected issue occurred and the game has crashed. We're sorry for the inconvenience.
This crash may be caused by an invalid Java Runtime configuration. Check any custom configuration settings.
Ever since 1.17.1 was released, no matter what I do, I get this error message trying to run any version of Minecraft 1.17.1+. I have allocated more RAM. I have tried installing the new launcher. I even tried reinstalling Java. I have no idea what is wrong. Does anyone know how to fix this?
Every time I try to run Minecraft (I haven't played in years but I'm trying to start again) I get this error message from the Java Virtual Machine Launcher:
Error: Could not create the Java Virtual Machine.
Error: A fatal exception has occurred. Program will exit.
Anyone know what's wrong? I bet its something so stupidly simple.
Hey, I'm looking for a small-ish group of people to play towny with. I'm not really too picky but I'd prefer if you had some experience. Welllll we don't exactly have a server that we're playing on right now, but hopefully we can find one soon. if you're interested at all, PM me for my discord.
My name is zaxinvex. I've played Minecraft since 2012 and Towny for the same amount of time. I will keep this short-
I want to forge an empire. I've done it before, but I really want to top it. I want to build a great town and empire along with it. But I'm gonna need help. If you have any of the following skills and are interested, please join our discord!
Hey, I'm Zax. I don't have much to say. I want to build an empire, and I want it to be great. But of course, I need some help.
I've got a lot down, I've been playing Towny since 2012 and I've done a lot of great things. I used to be one of the top players on one of the top towny servers, until I got busy and had to quit. Well now, I've got time. Here's what I'm gonna need:
Builders
Redstone Engineers
Builders
People Who Can Build Grinding Machines and Make us a Lot of Money
And I know I made this sound really dramatic but I'm really a chill guy and I just wanna play some Minecraft and get powerful on a server.
If you haven't been playing Minecraft that long, you probably won't really be able to do this, since I'm looking to capture an aesthetic from around that time.
I want to recapture that feeling of logging on to a server in ~2011-2012-2013. I'm not really sure what else to say, this is a really broad description, but if you know, you know.
Hi, I have the latest launcher and I just installed Forge 1.7.10, however it's not showing up in the launcher. I don't really know what else to say. The only other installations I have are Latest Release 1.14.4, Forge 1.6.4, and Forge 1.12.2. If you know how I can fix this, please help. Thank you.
You need 64-bit Java to allocate more than about 1.5 gigs of RAM.
funny thing about that is ive been running it on 1 gig for 7 years and i decided to up it to 1.5 a few weeks ago to improve performance. i mean i guess i'll go up to two but it just seems a bit redundant

Didn't work
