Too busy/complex and symmetric to be medieval. It is a nice house, don't get me wrong. I actually like it. But it seems move Steampunk like or an asian/medieval/viking thing.
(The Manor that we are starting with is an almost exact copy of one made by Jamziboyminecraft, I take no credit for it.)
Welcome to a Patrician's Tale, a community interactive story. We begin our story in 1283 with the young son of a late patrician. Our young protagonist goes by the name of Sven van der Heim. He has just inherited his family's manor house as well as its trading company.
The house may be filled with furniture, but it is unoccupied except for young Sven and his father's adviser Sven contemplates how to proceed with his life and what to do with his inheritance.
The Manor is far from the city in which the company is based, though he can still run it from here. Perhaps he should have his adviser design a stable so that Sven may purchase a horse for easier travel. Maybe he could set up a dock at the near by river. He could also head into town and recruit workers for his manor. Really his possibilities are endless. Sven decides to make a bulletin board as to keep track of his options.
Whatever his next move is shall be the first step into his legacy.

That is a very nice design. You got the curves of the hull down perfectly. You also made it less boring by using different types of wood. I give it a 5/5.
This needs more comments. From what I can tell you pretty much nailed it exactly. I was in Venice just this summer. I think your roof is fine the way you have it now.
