Backstory (1 - 3 paragraphs please! Be original!): Born into poverty, Ferin was orphaned at birth. He lived on the streets,eating what he could, sleeping where he could, that is until a man found the poor child feeding in the trash of a gutter. The man took Ferin to a hovel that he will call home, at least for a while. He grew under the eye of this man who took it upon himself to give Ferin a chance to live in this world, but the actions of this man had little influence on Ferin. He never knew his parents but unlike most orphans, he didn't want to know. Ferin realized that his parents left him with little chance to survive. As he grew however, Ferin became to understand why, and instead of resenting his parents, he began to admire them. He grew and learned to survive along side the man who took care of him. He began stealing food and credits to feed himself and his friend that cared for him those years when no one else would. The man became curious as to how Ferin was attaining all this food, but turned a blind eye because it was a good meal. At first Ferin felt guilt and remorse for his actions, but as he grew these feelings lessened. Soon he stole more frequently and even began mugging to get money from the more fortunate, or less in this case. Beating people excited Ferin, it made him feel powerful and in control. These feelings gave him more than was good for him but he couldn't part with these feelings. He continued on this path until one event changed him...He took the life of an innocent. The guilt, shame, and hatred from his entire life flooded Ferin's mind to its capacity. For several years he cried, nearly every moment of every day. He could only think of his past and what that included. His mind began to deteriorate into mush inside his skull. He could only see the face of the man who died by Ferin's hand, he could only feel the pain consuming him, and could only hears the cries of those he pained. This changed Ferin in ways he couldn't believe, he wanted nothing more than to forget and be forgotten. Ferin felt shameful of all his past actions from the moment he stole his first apple to the man he killed for the money in his pocket. He left the man without a word to go to a new place where no one would know his previous actions, where he could start a new life. This "new" life wasn't an easy one. No one would hire the stranger but everyone new he was in pain. Some sympathized, offering scraps of food and water, while others prodded at his emotions until he broke down the same insane way as before. Looking for peace, Ferin decides to join the local militia to find a place to settle among these people. He soon had to do his job by protection the settlement which he could not bring himself to do. Standing over a man suspected of crime, Ferin could not bring himself to harm the man. This was treason in the eyes of the people and they exiled him to wander once more. Now lost and alone in this world, Ferin looks for a new place to lay his head, and deal with the burden of his past.

Do you have to be from New England to join up? I'm from the Great Lakes area. I don't know if that would be a deterrent. Also, my skype is spotty, but my minecraft account is pretty reliable. Do I need skype all the time? Just clearing up this and that before I make a final decision.
Also, technicalities:
BoS, I can understand them being in New England. They're freakin everywhere, but if Caesar's legion hadn't made it to DC, how did they get all the way to New England? NCR for that matter. I don't think the New CALIFORNIA Republic has wandered that far, unless this is taking place far far into the future in comparison to the story lines of the last two games. If you're reference to President Eden was an indication of the time line, this would be taking place in or before the time of Fallout 3. Unless the Legion and NCR factions are fragments of the whole, like the BoS in DC. So..... Sorry, just trying to keep it real.
No, you do not have to live in new england lol, in the game, a few factions that grew to be VERY large and powerfull built ships and went to old britain, and named the country "new england" the president eden thing is cause he was dead around fallout 1 or 2, his recordings were used still, so i figured they wouldnt change. Caesars legion wasnt in DC because vegas was after DC, and bethesda didnt have the idea of caesar until vegas, they didnt exactly think out the entire series ya know.
If you have skype, it will help alot, i dont even stay on it when im playing btw. It lags me. Its mainly so i can easily tell 70% of the people on server when things happen.

Backstory (1 - 3 paragraphs please! Be original!): Oh so you want to know about me. Well I grew up in one of those fancy underground vaults that came complete with robot servants, fresh air and water, and those stupid lights that mimic the sun and burn your retina at the same time. I was just a lad when I went into a vault and had to quickly adapt to my new environment although it wasn’t easy switching from the great outdoors to a metallic fallout shelter for a young boy. I managed to find an outlet to keep myself occupied and sane during my days in the vault after being assigned as a baker by the G.O.A.T. It turns out that myself and that job were a match made in heaven and kept being the vault baker for several years until things became….complicated.
As time moved our overseer started to suffer from alzeimhers and made some radical decisions before being removed from power for a new overseer such as overloading the air ventilators and water purifiers causing radiation to take the lives of many. Before radiation killed us all of, the new overseer opened the vault door and commanded everyone who was still healthy to leave to do so or perish by radiation. It was a tough decision to make but I wasn’t going to just drop dead in this metal dungeon. I left the vault and made my way into the wasteland hoping I could find somewhere that I could peacefully start up my cake factory once again.

Once the smoke had finally cleared in the citadel, it was clear to the survivors, the lone wanderer had betrayed us. Siding with the Enclave, he sent the space laser upon us rather than the mobile crawler like we had planned. there was nothing left of our home after that, only a few of us remained. With the Elder dead, i took over as the leader and we moved out. With little time before the Enclave came to wipe out the survivors, we set out as soon as we could.
Travel was hard, we lost many men to Feral Ghouls and Radscorpians. But it was all worth it as we soon came upon our new home, or so we thought. New Vegas seemed like a promising area but it was too little too late. The NCR had already claimed the area and with this mysterious 'courier' hanging around the area, it was not safe. we traveled through one of our abandoned bunkers to a foggy area. seems that this courier was there too, killing the area's Elder Elijah.
It seemed like nowhere was safe, but then there was hope. We came across a group of Brothers hiding among the shifting sands. They granted us weapons and armour to continue our trip onwards. We raided a Enclave Remnant base and commandeered their Vertibird. From there we set out in search of a new home, unaffected by radiation. As our rations grew low, we finally found it, New England. A area seemly free of radition and danger. Better yet a new start for the Brotherhood of Steel.

The area was almost clean when I got here, but since then the areas gotten worse...The NCR in america recreated nuclear missiles, and saw us a major threat. We were bombed massively, thanks to what little recruits we had in new vegas we were able to take down their missile silo.

There was a great war in which thousands of nukes were fired around the world, the atmosphere became very irradiated and life became impossible. Those who lived did so in vaults, underground bunkers in which people survived. Eventualy the world was stable enough for people to live, and some animals somehow adapted to the radiation. Clean water and food is nearly impossible to comeby.
Why choose us instead of "The Vault" or "War Never Changes" I pledge to you that war never really changes, in both of those spys and raiding of factions isnt allowed. Thats not war! No anti-grief has been installed, want to raid a base? Go ahead! (Aslong as atleast one faction member is online) Personaly, im listening to the communities oppinions, dont like the server? RP example: Its a cold winter morning, trees are coverd in snow...and blood. "So, Deidara, anymore legionarys left to kill? Im bored!" "Calm your ****, theres a camp nearby Nero. Un." The two walk over to a nearby legion camp, the guards not suspecting what would happen next... "Nero, do me a favor and snipe the ones with high powerd machine guns. Hm." The man named Nero does this, several people fall to the ground dead, Nero owns one of the few silenced sniper rifles left in the wastes. "Hmph, my art, is an explosion of beauty! Hm!" Just then he throws five ordinary looking grenades, which have a red X on them, the explosions are much bigger than that of normal grenades and the entire camp is destroyed.
Character biography, (must be 1 -2 paragraphs): Born in vault 78, Deidara was always the weird kid. His obssessions with explosions were unmatched by that of anyone else. He was once jailed for tinkering with a grenade he had stolen from a peacekeeper, the grenade had a blue O on it, and C2 on the back in black ink. The grenades explosive power was atleast doubled from its original C1 explosive power, to infact being C2. Later on in his life, he started keeping weapons and explosives from the peacekeepers, he planned to rebel and escape with his father and mother. Soon his parents discoverd this, and they dissapeared. Deidara never talked about it, all that was known was blood and ash scatterd all over the fire hot walls of the room. He left the vault at some point, The vault door having a few holes in it and being wide open, and half of the inside caved in and destroyed. Nobody lives in the vault now. There are 3 different grenades of his, Blue O which is C2, Green T which is C3, and Red X which is C4 (the most powerfull heat/pressure related explosive ever made, anything above that is actualy set off by cold temperatures.
Hey guys, zamorak here, been playin on da server a bit. Its fun and good in my opinion, i just have a problem with dying. Ive just joined and was killed and attacked by a super mutant (which i actualy killed :biggrin.gif:.) Not only that, but the fact that the dude who killed me had a diamond sword and iron armor, a bit of over kill. But it is a good server, just try not to get on the bad side of people at the beggining, they will slay you.
Also, any BoS people here? Id like to try and get into the BoS, btw, i think enclave is going to attack you in 2 days (not sure if RL or MC days.)

Why choose us instead of "The Vault" or "War Never Changes" I pledge to you that war never really changes, in both of those spys and raiding of factions isnt allowed. Thats not war! RP example: Its a cold winter morning, trees are coverd in snow...and blood. "So, Deidara, anymore legionarys left to kill? Im bored!" "Calm your ****, theres a camp nearby Nero. Un." The two walk over to a nearby legion camp, the guards not suspecting what would happen next... "Nero, do me a favor and snipe the ones with high powerd machine guns. Hm." The man named Nero does this, several people fall to the ground dead, Nero owns one of the few silenced sniper rifles left in the wastes. "Hmph, my art, is an explosion of beauty! Hm!" Just then he throws five ordinary looking grenades, which have a red X on them, the explosions are much bigger than that of normal grenades and the entire camp is destroyed.
Character biography, (must be 1 -2 paragraphs): Born in vault 78, Deidara was always the weird kid. His obssessions with explosions were unmatched by that of anyone else. He was once jailed for tinkering with a grenade he had stolen from a peacekeeper, the grenade had a blue O on it, and C2 on the back in black ink. The grenades explosive power was atleast doubled from its original C1 explosive power, to infact being C2. Later on in his life, he started keeping weapons and explosives from the peacekeepers, he planned to rebel and escape with his father and mother. Soon his parents discoverd this, and they dissapeared. Deidara never talked about it, all that was known was blood and ash scatterd all over the fire hot walls of the room. He left the vault at some point, The vault door having a few holes in it and being wide open, and half of the inside caved in and destroyed. Nobody lives in the vault now. There are 3 different grenades of his, Blue O which is C2, Green T which is C3, and Red X which is C4 (the most powerfull heat/pressure related explosive ever made, anything above that is actualy set off by cold temperatures.
