I am looking to start a new Minecraft Server with fascinating buildings and fun MiniGames and other modes. For this to happen, I need to hire quality builders that are willing to build.

Describe your server idea: At spawn, there will be four portals [MiniGames, Survival, Factions, Shop]. Our server mainly focuses on MiniGames, which contains Elemental Arena, WarHorse Arena, and the EnderPearl Arena. In the Elemental Arena, there will be four teams [Fire, water, earth, air] which has their specialities and weaknesses, the arena which they will fight will also have four islands, each made according to the elements. In the WarHorse Arena, there is two options, one is that the goal is to kill the opponents' horses, and the other is to kill the opponents. There will also be kits for each player to choose. Finally, the EnderPearl Arena has an arena made of Prismarine, and each player will be given EnderPearls for them to teleport upwards to the upper arena, and they will be given swords and bows. When a player kills another, the player would get five coins, so using these coins, they can buy armour, weapons and potions in the shop. The survival would have many special effects and skills which players could master and pick.

Why you want this server: I believe we already have a great map but we don't have a good server. So if a server hosting company sponsors us, I believe our server would be much more popular. Also, I want every player on our server to have fun and develop long-lasting friendship.

On a scale of 1-10, how badly do you want the server?: 9.5

Proposed Plugins: N/A, Vanilla [Probably will be Bukkit in the future]

How do you plan to generate money?: There will be Diamond Rank, Gold Rank, Iron Rank and Redstone Rank. If they pay, they will get particles on them and the Diamond Rank can choose any particle they would like. There will also be announcements which announces players' ranks.

Do you already have a community? If so, how many active players? If not, how will you be getting players?: Yes. There is seven active players. In order to get more, I will get more players by advertising on Planet Minecraft and starting my own server website.

What makes your server special? Why should I join your server instead of that other server?: Everybody is treated equal. In the server, everyone treats everybody like we're already best friends and helps them. Also, there are many cool effects on the server and the unique gameplay can give players an excitement that they have never felt before. Also, people could help us build arenas and other things they would like.

Is there a reason why you can't pay for this server?: Yes. I don't have a credit card.

What you will do for the company in return: 80%+ donations come to you, and I will get a credit card in the future, so I could pay back all the money that the sponsoring spent.

Experience: I have experience in plugin as I'm a Bukkit Developer, also managing servers with server panels etc.. I host my own server using SSH and Linux commands atm with some friends. I do feel this server has great potential and you know what you are doing. I have 3 years of experience in server hosting and web hosting also managing players on the server so they stick to the rules provided and making sure staff do there job correct. If staff are inactive I will try and get in contact with them as soon as possible to try and resolve the issue of being inactive.

Explaining why you cant pay? You can't let 100% of the donations to go to them, if you dont have a debit/credit card that's understandable. Every country is different also maybe add in advertising for the hosting company. Giving 100% to the host shows that you dont want anything for yourself to upgrade the server, maybe discuss with the host a 80%+ more and the rest they can spend on the server like website pay or some staff.

In this server, players will go on quests and missions, battle players, slay demons, and corporate with each other. Except Agent Coulson and Grant Ward, which will be played by staffs, players will be chosen to be a character randomly or chosen by themselves. Each day, there will be a different mission, so players will not be exhausted by playing a mission for many times.

I am a very intelligent twelve year old, who has been playing minecraft since 1.8 beta. I have put countless hours into this gaming learning how to mod, skin, build, craft, mine, fight, and any other part of the game. Ever since some of the newer updates, a bit past the beta phase, I've been noticing a very large change in the minecraft community as a whole. The change would be the vast amount of children that have entered the once unique and fun community.



Let me state before I continue, I know that my listed age above will automatically provoke a response such as "How can you be calling people a kid?" I will go into detail later. I will cover how this effects the community as a whole, too.



BELOW IS A LIST OF HOW SMALL CHILDREN HAVE DRAMATICALLY CHANGED THE GAME (NOT NECESSARILY A BAD THING)



Minecraft used to be a charming little game with a great community of people, all trying to find their place in said community. Think of it as a big city with working people, You had the youtubers, the skinners, the modders, the builders, all sorts of people showing off their talent in this little-big game.



Lately, a few years later, (And about 15 million people later, I might add) The community of minecraft is incomprehensibly massive. And this seems to be the time that many very young people join the world of Minecraft, flowing in and becoming addicted to its simple but complex being. Kids go to school, talk about minecraft, do little class projects on minecraft, buy minecraft shirts, minecraft toys, everything, MOST of them not even owning the game.



Around 2012-2013, technology became very open to all groups, including gaming, media, computers, anything. The main group I'm trying to talk about is small children, A parent may put on a video for their child, and one way or another they see this person playing some blocky game. And after lots of begging, the child gets the game.


This is where the community is affected. Children became a major demographic is all minecraft related media. I'll talk about youtubers. A youtuber is a job. Not a hobby, a job. In my opinion, A youtuber is an active content maker that earns revenue through his/her videos. Most gaming youtubers would play minecraft, and would do what it takes to make themselves happy and their audience. Youtubers have to make money to live on, When a massive new demographic comes in, its time for change. Some youtubers, though maybe not all, may have to change how they act to appeal to a larger audience, but may cause original viewers to drift away.



Multiplayer: Kids are immature, that is how they are. Kids are also new human beings, incapable of grasping the size of the world. That also means they don't know how to act. Through personal experience, children can do some very immature things, like griefing, repeatedly cursing, hacker accusation, spamming and many more. It can be a big turn down for the community to join a server to be greeted by a kid with online power. This is one of the biggest parts that affects gameplay and can sometimes be irritating while trying to enjoy yourself.



Merchandise: The minecraft store used to be a nice little place where you could buy a hoodie or shirt, now its filled with little action figures and lego sets and others. A small change, but its worth mentioning.



Generalization: By far the most irritating and frustrating part about this is that minecraft was a cool place when it WAS barely known. But now that everybody knows it, they only have knowledge of it starting from when they learned about it. Because of kids making it known, nearly all minecraft players can be stereotyped as little nerdy hunchbacked kids that have absolutely no social life, and that bothers me.



I hope you can see some of the points I'm trying to make. If you disagree with me on anything, please comment below, as I would love a good civil argument.





In my defense as what many would consider a "kid": I grew up in a large, two-story house, my parents are up to date on technology and make good money. I have had a computer since diapers. I could download by age 3 and could install programs and mod video games at age 8. I've played thousands of multiplayer games. I know how to act on the internet. The millions of kids I'm talking about don't. And thats why this upsets me.

Minecraft isn't changing, the people who play it are.
