    Quote from CanaryCasserole

Well, hold on. Let me just fix that up.

What do you guys think of creepers? Doesn't it seem like they are overrated? How many times do they come and blow everything up? Also, what is your favorite mob in Minecraft? Mine is the Mooshroom. Also, I'm playing my own modded series. What mods do you think I should add? I'll put the names down below.

List of mods : Better Furnaces, Ultimate Tools, Deconstruction, Damage Indicators, Applied Energistics, Backpacks, Better Sprinting, Buildcraft, Ender Storage, Extra Utilities, Gravity Guns, Hats, Iron Chest, Morph, NEI (Not Enough Items), Openblocks, Orespawn, Portal Guns, Star Miner, Waila, YouTuber Blocks and Zans Minimap.

P.S. All mods here are 1.6.4. I need ideas! Please help!
Oh thanks so much. It hurt to look at.

Thanks Tippy :) do u know how many villages are in each world?
There is an infinite amount. A popular trick is to put your seed into a superflat world. Where you find a village there, there should be a corresponding one on the normal world.

MADE by you? Like crafted? On some old servers, slimeballs were used as currency. But if you wanted crafted, I would suggest magma cream. Hard to get, but both parts can be farmed.

posted a message on Temple or Stronghold?
    Quote from roseclaw173

I believe that there is only two strong holds in a world, I'd say go for it
There is a limit of three strongholds per world (1 per world in console versions). All strongholds are located at random positions in a radius between 640 and 1152 blocks from the world's original spawn point, at 0/0 (but may extend further in or out of that area). The three strongholds are spawned at roughly equal angles from the center point of the world (that is, each stronghold is in the region of 120 degrees from the others, measured from the origin). From the wiki.

posted a message on why do people bother branch/shaft mining?
    Quote from MalcolmCooks

The only mine that's actually useful is a cobblestone quarry. Anything else is just tedious and slow.
Caving is a lot more fun and interesting, and you get ores (including diamond) a lot quicker compared to mining. I have started mines on the diamond level to search for diamond, but always found it a lot quicker to go off and explore caves on that level and get diamonds that way. The same applies to a greater degree for iron, gold and other ores. And mining just gets you a load of waste dirt, gravel and cobblestone. So what is the big secret I'm apparantly missing out on?
So here you said "The only mine that's actually useful is a cobblestone quarry." And here you said "And mining just gets you a load of waste dirt, gravel and cobblestone." By using a cobblestone quarry, you get a lot more cobble then you would with branch mining.

posted a message on Why do you think minecraft is fun?
I think it's the replay-ability. I have played for two years this summer and I have never gotten bored of the game. Sure, I've stopped playing singleplayer at times, the same with multiplayer. But never both at once. I also, like most people, like the freedom and lack of invisible walls, you can only do so much, like not kill X npc since they will be valuable later. Even if you do get bored, the community is waiting with texture packs and mods on a silver platter for you to spice up your game.

posted a message on What's Your Minecraft World Like?
I still have the world saved, but due to an entity spawning glitch, there are 3 clusters of bats underground that have duplicated into the hundreds. Since then I have not gotten bored with a world that I'm playing the snapshot on. Wait a second, I have pictures.

I built my base on the side of a ravine. My mine is at the bottom.

Age: 13 (Though some who didn't know my age said I was 15 or 16)
    IGN: youlp13
    Skype: youlp13
How often can you play: 6+ hours? (Maybe more)
Experience with bukkit, and server administrating (need proof):I once went from builder, to mod, to admin on a server called GorrillaCraft (No longer up). There I learned how to use World Edit and basic staff skills.
Why you want to be admin: I was sitting here browsing the interwebs and I remembered the satisfaction I got from seeing the server grow. I want to feel that feeling again and help something grow.
How often will you be able to Skype: After Friday, I can pretty much play all day.
How good are you with commands: Very good.
Favorite Youtuber: I would say LazyPurple
Question: What's the ip? Is there a website? What is your experience as a server owner?

posted a message on What is the best way to transport animals over long distances?
I'm surprised no one has suggested this. Set a nether portal at the animal's destination and then one at their current home. Then connect them with a tunnel. It will be cheaper to just use leads instead of rails. Since every block you travel in the nether is equal to 8 overworld blocks, you just reduced the distance you have to travel to a little more then 375 blocks. Hope this helps!

posted a message on I have a Question for EVERYONE
It can, and that's why a lot of people turn to mods to spice up the game. If you think you have huge balls, try MITE, or Minecraft is Too Easy. http://minecraft-is-too-easy.com/ It practically reinvents the game to make it super hard.

Use some sort of image uploading program. I personally like https://imageshack.com/ Upload your image, then get the URL for websites or something similar to that. Then paste the URL into the text box on the forums. When you click Post, your images will be seen.
