Makes sense. I tried this, and i found it!
My save works perfect now. What happened to me is it took a chunk from another part of my world and moved it to be in the middle of the place that, because of said chunk error, got stuck.
Also I HAVE A THEORY as to why this happened. I think if you go into the Nether and go back into the regular world, the chunks in the new save format don't reload right due to size difference or something, and it then it causes a bugged chunk because it screwed up loading one (or possibly more) chunks. In my case it must have accidentally messed up and loaded a chunk from elsewhere in my world to the area that became bugged, and that caused the error where every entity gets stuck. The reason i say it is caused by the Nether is because this happened directly after a trip to the Nether, and it makes sense because the Nether distorts distance which can cause chunk confusion.

Jan 28, 2011Hey is there any way of there being a squid spawner schematic? If there is could someone point me to where to get it?Posted in: Minecraft Tools
Edit: I figured out its in NBT format but i want to know if simply changing "Creeper" to "Squid" is enough to make it work?
DoubleEdit: Never mind stupid question. It worked. Disregard this post.

I like the design a lot, but keep in mind that the buildings are going to be underwater, so the water for walls isn't really gonna work.
I thought the city was going to be in a bubble under the sea? or am I wrong?
No, I think they're just underwater structures. That would be a neat idea though...

You read my mind.

Blah blah blah too much
Download MCedit and use the "find and replace" function. My underwater building that is impossible to take pictures of was originally gold, then rock, then I changed it to iron.
Thak you soooo much! It looks way cooler now thanks! I changed the columns to iron blocks, the rest of the brick to stone and double half-steps, and some of the stone to brick! And it looks awesome!
Dec 19, 2010Posted in: Minecraft Survival Servers (archive)Quote from Ayun »It seems you have a really nice architecture technique although I despise brick its very nice. But, for Akasha you should lean towards more "devilish look" Like more black and purple colored with spikes and what not.
Yeah, I know I used way too much . I even said that in the video somewhere, the only problem is being :brick:, it's very hard to destroy with anything short of and that'll destroy everything else too. And the devilish thing your talking about seems more Agni's style to me. I think of like an advanced, teleporting, ambitous and adventurous people when I think of Akasha. But I do agree the insides should contain more Nether stuff like :obsidian:, portals, bloodstone, slow sand and etc. I also want to make the tower more emphasized. I want to make it look like the building was built around it, not the tower as part of the building.
Dec 19, 2010Oh, also, I made a video on what I think Akashan structures should generally look like. Positive or negative feedback is welcome. I was gong to put this in my whitelist application, but I can't really do that right now since the site got messed up.Posted in: Minecraft Survival Servers (archive)

I dont know, I always felt no cities had its own advantages, with no cities you have nothing to defend, and very little advantage for an attacker to search you out. So likely the only people you will meet are war parties attacking another race / lone travelers, both of which you can simply stealth and run away from. I feel like poisoning food would be too much of an advantage, you can already steal the blocks/tools right out of our hands :tongue.gif: And diamond armor provides no more protection than leather, it durability just decreases slower :tongue.gif:
I do see what your saying but it really it's going to matter how other players treat Vagabonds, if they tend to be friendly don't try to kill us on sight then we won't need most of the perks added (But I'd really like to see night vision and increased inventory to allow more wandering )
But if players try to kill Vagabonds on sight for what ever reason then we will need more protection.
In truth I'd rather be a roaming Vagabond rather then the ninja assassin ones.
So all in all we will have to see how it goes and balance it from there.
P.S you guys still haven't commented on the name change.
Well, seeing as the vagabonds that will actually be grouped together (not the extreme loner ones) into different tribes, each tribe can have its own mini-city. And each can act separately, ie a friendly town as you were saying, or a military stronghold that is just used for stockpiling mercenaries and supplies.
Will they be allied or neutral towards each other though? Will all vagabonds be necessarily allied or will they just be neutral to each other until declared otherwise?
