posted a message on The Seasons Mod - Minecraft 1.7.10 & 1.8.9, release version '3.0-alpha2' (updated 19th of July, 2017)
Wow this is crazy, followed this mod since the beginning in Beta 1.3 I think it was when Nandonalt made it, when he disappeared it seemed this mod was doomed, glad to see it alive and someone realises how amazing and revolutionary this mod is.

    THANKS

posted a message on 10 Snapshots?
I was hoping this thursday was the day they released it after so many snapshots, same with the last. Just because I know if I make a new world and get committed to it, I wont be able to continue it because maybe next week they'll r release the update. I want to use the large biomes feature, hope they don't add anything new to terrain generation because I might just start a new world now with a snapshot even though I was waiting for a update

Looking at the Endportal itself seemed to cause lag i don't know why anything else in a stronghold would lag more then the usual caves,
i aggre with the previous posters, all the leaves in the jungle might cause the lag you may wanna consider playing of fast graphics
Ya, I run on fast graphics, normal distance

yoda building above a stronghold could cause interference with portals and generated structures below the ground. And you mentioned that you were near a jungle, and for some reason it seems a lot of players have slight fps lag in jungles. I think just having a randomly generated structure and mob spawners, and a jungle right nearby is just a recipe for lag. That's my opinion :P

    Happy Crafting!

Ya, I suppose, anyone think I should post world download to test this?

I'm assuming that since you're living above the stronghold and you can't find any other logical reason to be lagging. I guess the obvious conclusion is: Yes

    Happy Crafting ;)
    Hope your lag gets better!

Ya, guess it's time to check out the optifine mod then... btw would you happen to know why a stronghold under me would cause lag? Can't believe I haven't tried this yet, but I'll try moving away from the general area and see if my frames get better

If active mob spawners can cause lag then maybe it's that.
dunno, usually get 20-30 fps on fast graphics and normal render distance, now getting 10-15 fps, I could post the world download and see if other people want to test it out maybe.... also, already destroyed silverfish spawner when I found the portal room.

Well I found this stronghold completely by accident when I started a new world around 1.2 for the jungles, and was looking for a nice place to live near one(and I found the greatest spot ever, probably gonna post screenshots later) and I needed to make some kinda makeshift shelter when it turned night in this great spot I found in a plains biome right next to a swamp and jungle biome. Anyways, I saw this sort of indent in a hill near a lava and water pool and decided to stay there, block it off, and dig a staircase down to get some mining done while waiting till daytime.

While digging that staircase I heard silverfish and dug straight smack dab in the middle of a stronghold portal room. I couldn't believe my luck(sounds fake right? happened on it by chance=fake jk)

Started building a house near all that stuff and noticed I'm getting a lot lower frames than usual and I wanted to ask everyone here: Could living above a stronghold cause a lot of lag? I haven't even explored it or anything, I'm saving THAT for later. Would be great if anyone could lend some information on this.

And I know some people won't want to read all this so

TL/DR-I found a stronghold by accident, building a house above it, getting a lot of lag. Please help, thanks.

    *facepalm*

Anyway, it won't run Minecraft at a decent fps.
It's an outdated system you have there, you're best of buying a new one.

Ya my bad on that, reading from ccleaner can do that, plus don't know a lot about computers-Only 16 man!

Random question I know, just wondering if these specs would be good for minecraft.

    OS:Windows Vista Home Premium 32-bit SP2
    CPU: AMD Athalon 64
Processor: x2 Dual Core Processor 3800+
    RAM: 2.0GB
    Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce 6150 LE

Thanks for any info, or help guys.

Edit: Just wondering all this because I normally get somewhere around 20-25 fps on fast graphics and normal distance and I'm getting some pretty low lately on my new world. Like about 10-15 fps usually. I think it might be the stronghold that's under my house, but I don't know if that's how things work. Any opinions?

Well the game was running all fine and dandy yesterday on version 1.2.5, even had some mods installed, tried it today, and it's running at 1fps on menu screen and I end up having to force close it on task manager.
I have absolutely no idea why this is happening, I tried a fresh install in case it was the mods fault, downloading Minecraft.exe again from the website and deleting my entire .minecraft folder, and I still have the same problem.
Any help appreciated, let me know if you require further information, thanks.

Edit: Found out why it's running like this, it's all of a sudden using all of my cpu and memory, I tried browser and client, they both do the same thing! I just don't get it, it was completely running normal yesterday, if anyone knows anything about this kinda stuff please help, any info would be great, thanks.

Edit 2: New topic title: Minecraft has started working out of the blue
Ya guess it just decided to stop being stupid, hell knows what changed but I'm happy, at least I think it remembering doing something like this before but not for how long this thing was. Was like that for a few days, and now it's just fine. Weird..... Anywho, thanks to everyone that helped or tried to. bbye!
