After almost a year of downtime The Scarlet Village is back and we're looking for new members. Currently the server's invite only and we're requiring an app to join so it would be lovely if you can fill out the following:

Everything Bukkit and Minecraft related is in Java. I know there are some perl/ruby/etc. interpreters exist out there for easier scripting but actual plugins are going to always be in Java.
If you don't mind me asking, exactly what are you looking to accomplish? What plugins are you looking for? I'm a software engineering student and I have a working knowledge of Java. Would kind of like to know what you want to do first though.

Server Donation Kits are now available.
As the server doesn’t run itself we are incredibly grateful for any donations that are given. The donations go towards a multitude of things and every bit helps to better the server. A few of the things the donations go to include maintenance and hardware costs of the actual machine the server is run on, betterment of the server, website, etc. through certain features I personally could not afford on my own and other similar features such as domain registration, offsite server hosting, and internet bills.
Now I know as much as you’d like to hear what your donations go towards you’d probably moreover like to know what the donations net you personally.
Donations do accumulate over time (I.E. if you donate $5 now and $5 later you’ll have donated $10 thus getting whatever rewards you’d get at that amount)
So here’s what they’ll net you:
$5+ will get you a donor tag. This is simply [Donor] in front of your name. You’ll also get a warm, fuzzy feeling from being such an awesome person.
$20+ will net you a couple more things. At this amount you get to choose a custom prefix and suffix (something different than [donor]. In the end it would look like this in chat: [prefix]Yepwatermelon[Suffix]. The brackets are not required they are just for demostration) Along with this you’ll also get $20,000 in game currency.
$50+ will get you even more.
Your name in the special thanks section of the about page. You’ll get a faction with $50,000 in-game currency. Slightly higher power and a personal set of chainmail armor (encahted and extremely hard to break). A single nameable, immortal iron golem to protect your stuff or follow you if you like.
$100+ is the ultimate package. At this amount you get everything specified below along with a special thanks on the about page along with a picture of your in-game avatar on it. We will automatically set up a faction for you with $100,000 in-game currency in the bank and higher power settings. We will also give you one personal set of chain-mail armor and a diamond sword (enchanted and unbreakable) and two nameable, immortal, iron golems to follow you or protect your resources. These may not be the final features as we may add more as we think of it. Thus, check back for more later!
