Yeah man, having an opinion on a topic and challenging a notion by higher powers is a bad idea.
It's not like the world is how it is today because of actions like that or anything.
If it was locked, that's a really sad decision to make if it was locked purely on the topic at hand and not because of any other factor such as flaming.

Why did you not buy the Beta version? the Beta version is £10/$20 and the alleged price of the released version will be double that apparantly. It is clearly stated when you buy it.
I bought the game in Alpha. But I paid for a pre-order of the released version of Minecraft, as did everyone else.
I just read the entire thread and bravo guys.. Some very compelling arguments with well thought out posts. I had lost faith that decent people still existed on these boards.
TBH I believe they've made their money and have moved on. I keep hearing about their new game "Scrolls". Why would you start a new game while your current one hasn't finished? I paid for a release copy of Minecraft, not beta. Also I just watched an interview where Notch said he had never finished a project before. He also considered Minecraft a project. So needless to say I have little hope that I will actually even get what I paid for.

It would be if you took out all the posts containing the same friggin questions over and over and over and over again, and also posts like this one. sigh
Random thought / idea – how about griffins and hippogriffs as mounts?
I was thinking that eagles could be an added mob – in addition, both lions and eagles could be tameable, by giving them cooked meat.
Then, if a lion and an eagle are paired together in the same way as two horses (except giving them each a cooked fish to initiate the process), they could breed and have a chance to create a griffin.
Furthermore, if a griffin is paired with a Pegasus, it could create a hippogriff.
Both griffins and hippogriffs would be carnivorous winged mounts that can defend the player against hostile mobs – perhaps a hippogriff could be distinguished from a griffin by having the extra ability to carry chests.
Might be a little too out there, but I thought I may as well suggest it!
I actually really like this idea. Although inter-species mating is getting a little far from home... perhaps have the ritual require a special reagent or something along these lines. Perhaps a special block formation (rune) for casting the spell or whatever. I doubt it would happen but would love to see this in the game.
I don't know about the other mods but Kingbdogz does NOT break Mo' Creatures. I suggest you stop using them if you want the greatness of Mo' Creatures. The good doctor has also done his best to make this mod as conflicting-free as he can. Its now up to the authors of the other mods to do the same if there are issues.
