Have you see the other threads on this topic like this one? Version 0.13 was released recently and for some people it crashes in the same way that you describe. Nvidia mobile graphics cards may be a common factor.

That's just how MCPE works, as far as I know. If you're in creative, then it would be too easy to get the achievements, so they're disabled.
To save your gear from survival mode when switching to creative, put it in a chest. Chests can't be opened in creative.

There was a large Windows 10 update and an update to Minecraft (to version 0.13) that were both released recently. Your problem may be with the 0.13 update, not the Windows update. There is discussion of it in a couple of threads here, like 0.13 crashes on laptop (nvidia geforce gt 540m) and Crashes on startup fullscreen. There was also a bug report opened. If this is your bug, please check out this bug report and upvote it so it gets some visibility.

I believe the Windows 10 version of minecraft is not compatible with the Java version of minecraft (for Windows 8 and earlier, and Linux). Windows 10 minecraft is compatible with Minecraft Pocket Edition for iOS and Android.

Same for me as well. Windows 10. Minecraft worked with 0.12.3. Upgrade to 0.13 and it won't start anymore. I get the Mojang splash screen on startup, then get dumped back to the desktop. I've got an NVIDIA GeForce GT 630M card.
Edit: here's the DxDiag pastebin if that will help: http://paste.ubuntu.com/13379256/
