    yeah i turned it down to 6 but at 6 the world gen almost stopped it was so slow

    so i turned it back up and it was merely very slow again
    EDIT:
    at first i was just following the guide on the youtube video and i thought that was the amount generated per vein and i was right
    but that doesn't fix the worldgen problems

    This mod adds several weapons from the popular First Person Shooter, "Team Fortress 2".
    there is already a mod for this out there, but it had so few weapons in it I saw little of the much available implementable features that Team Fortress 2 provided. this mod aims to recreate AS MANY WEAPONS AS POSSIBLE.

    it works fine if i put the calls in the main script into //'es, but then it doesn't generate my ore.

    but if i want my ore to be generated, and take the //'es back away so it calls the world generation script, it goes all buggy again.

    following the guide at , I was working on getting my ore (if you saw my other thread where i was having troubles with my mod initially and it didn't save right so i rewrote it entirely you'd know it's called ToonMetal Ore) to generate so I could enable the collection of and use of my ore and it's items in survival mode, but when i finished writing the script for it and attempted to run it, minecraft started up normally, but when i created a world, the world creation screen was up for like five minutes (a bit very long) and when i got into the game the framerate was basically 0 and the chunks barely loaded, and i looked at the console and found HEAPS of chunk latency errors. i disabled the calls to the ore generation script and it started working properly again.

    oh, and when making crafting recipes, i've been making one recipe for every possible location you can put the recipe in. is there a more efficient way to make it to where recipes that don't take up the whole table can be moved to other slots and still work? (eg Block of ToonMetal back into nine ToonMetal Ingots)

    got the equalizer done, gonna make the escape plan and a blood drop from the mobs to craft it. (hint: it's bloody) splattering blood on some of the tools will make it a different tool (Escape Plan will become Equalizer, Kukri will become tribalman's shiv, etc. the result will always be one of the weapons that are either red or have blood on the texture in actual TF2. Blood will drop from Zombies, all nonhostile mobs, and spiders.

    all i did was put the default minecraft textures into photoshop, resize them to 128x128, and put an effect called "dry paint" on them. that's why i said they were placeholder textures.

    i did actually draw the sniper's kukri (the sword for the first release) myself, i just finished making that weapon

    well here's the textures i came up with in the end



    Photoshop derped up on me and i couldn't put my filter on the ingot. i'm guessing that has something to do with it's transparency idk XD

    these are definitely not the final textures it's just a placeholder while i work on the mod.
    i will work on the mod first, and everything will have some basic texture maybe or maybe not ripped off of some other thing in the game or in some other mod.
    textures are NOT my priority until i get ready to have a first public release.

    editythingy-i looked through the console a little bit and so i'm gonna try downloading IWJGL and putting it into one of the folders. i think i know which folder
    doubleeditythingy-i didn't find the folder to put iwjgl in like i thought i would but i ran the gradlew with setupdecompworkspace and refresh-dependencies and it skipped all the stuff that had already been done and ready and it copied and decompiled minecraft over and fixed the problem :D now i'm gonna go test it using a random screenshot i found laying on my computer as a texture.

    i'm completely redoing the mod now, and i'm not going to close the eclipse window UNTIL I'M DONE. i don't know why it wouldn't open my saved source code but its just retarded enough so i guess........
